I don't know when the dramas will air actually, the person who put up the comment says they followed most YT announcements from production teams, and at least a third of the dramas on that list did air, so I guess they know their stuff. Governor and Missing Piece are the ones I know ('cause I loved the novels), but a lot of them look interesting. I'm thinking the ones with a gazillion eps are vertical, but the ones with a short number of eps should be AT LEAST 30-some minutes long, so there SHOULD be plenty Chinese danmei to lessen the suffering :)

And yes, I think they meant the Northern-side Autumn :D

I'm a woman myself but I've kind of grown tired of people saving girls left, right and center. How about we switch it back a bit? Let parents or friends or powers that be save some boys or teens again. Not every girl has to be OP and conquer all dangers so that the parents can come running to their rescue but in the meantime they somehow managed to do most of the rescuing themselves.

(I bet you can name two or three dramas and movies like that without having to think a lot about them. Now try to remember the last time it was a boy who needed to be rescued or something).

Isn't The Governor's Still Sick supposed to start in the autumn? I love that book, I hope they do it justice.

I don't care if Q realised who killed her brother already or if Pasin is actually acting it out. They couldn't have planned such a long game (the drama will probably tell us they actually did plan twenty moves ahead to get Babylon inside the mall, but seriously at this point is just reeks of stupid big flashy plotting from the DEM scriptwriters).

In the end, Babylon is expending an idiotic amount of power to deal with a wannabe arms-dealer with only 4-5 trusted persons around, and he keeps defeating them like eating popcorn.

They managed to annoy me with him saying "listen up Jeong JiAn" that MEANT a lot of things in S1 and here turned into a gimmick. S1 had meat and bones, this one has a burnt-over smell residue of what made the first one great. Like, there were 8 eps that covered characters' background, tense fights that CONVINCED the audience they were real, a solid villain (Bale?! Like, does this Kusanagi psycho even DESERVE to hold a candle to Bale?!), a feeling of actual danger and terse waiting for the next thing to happen. Here, I'm watching in 1.5 and it's still sooooo slow. Nothing important seems to happen, new charas come in for like 10 seconds then they're wasted, the only (very little!) developed new relationship was between the assassin brother and sister. And now Pasin's son has leukemia because otherwise he couldn't be motivated to betray his friends? Like, get freaking real.

At least there's not a lot of it left, I'm very tempted to just drop it ATP.

I'll be honest, it's turning too cartoonish and I don't like it. With two eps before the ending they made it into another twist-within-a-twist and it'll be a deus-ex-machina to solve it.

I should've really qualified my wish when I said I wanted a S2.

The creepiest was the poor old man in his fish tank. The timeline edit made it a bit harder to understand but once the things all aligned, it made sense a little too smoothly. But it made for a tense watching, anyway, because of the threat to kids.

I wonder if, in the novel, YingYing's mom is just divorced away or also missing. To do what the villain did and prep for so long in advance - "just in case" something happens - seems a bit far-fetched, if he wasn't already used to make things happen. This isn't his first rodeo, I think.

Anyway, all's well that ends well. Even the secondary villain isn't as bad, he can be redeemed. I'll not be the one to fix him, LOL, even if he still has some boundaries, the gambling addiction and the lengths to which he went for just a small pension isn't recc'ing him for a relationship.

For a father with a missing young child, Tang Yu is so chill. I'm more on his wife's side, I'd be doing the crazy madwoman on a mission rounds all those appartments every second, double time on Sundays. Is the character just as chill in the novel, I wonder?

Ohsh!t is this going the way of Star Wars?! Like, make a movie, then three unrelated but still somehow related TV series, then an animated series, then another movie, then a spinoff, then the second part of the original movie and so on and so forth, making someone having to drag themselves through unlimited amounts of media that they were never interested in, just to get to a second movie and understand whatever happens in it?!

Marvel does the same idiotic thing, which is why I haven't watched them for years. I guess if this approach takes, I'll be cutting off some dramas too.

I'm thinking about freaking bears, TBH. They did say there were bears around those parts, so maybe it's not the bear from Molie, but it could be another. And ChangYang coming back with a clean shoe is just him trying to protect his family from the idea of QingTian being attacked and killed by a bear.

There have to have been some remains, since WenShu can put the ashes in the fireworks, but maybe ChangYang didn't want QingLang to see... And their grandma and mom.

Also, the f!ck with the analogies this time, tell us he had an accidental fall or jumped himself, don't leave it so ambiguous. It's one thing to just have an accident in the mountains - quite easy, ask me how I know - but completely different from causing it yourself. If it was just an accident, it'd be easier to accept, IMHO. But if it wasn't, the whole bunch of them just stood around and let it happen.
