Title A Killer Paradox Spoiler
agreed, it was soo unnecessary, but the scene was very short and imho it's not that big of a deal, like i wouldn't…
There's a second one in ep 5, but at least that one made some sense as it was related to the trauma of one of the victims. Still, the first one is just there for titillating the easily impressed, meh.

from the summary it sounds somewhat like Death Note
More like Unbreakable, IMHO,

By episode 4, it's actually turning into something good.
The 4th ep looks like it's made based on Unbreakable, LOL, and the slo-mo scenes are the best yet in this drama.

And it's nice they changed CWS's styling, he's looking like he's not the same Lee Tang any more, which is also good. Finally we seem to be getting somewhere.

PS To all kids watching, there's still no second sex scene, and the first one is still unwarranted.

You must be a kid lol. It’s just a basic representation of reality lol haha. You must be used to typical fantasy…
Just to make sure we're talking about the same thing - he's having sex (well, it's a scene where he's just lying there and she's bouncing up and down his stick or so we're supposed to believe) with a woman that doesn't even EXIST in that room at that moment, and then the man he killed shows up in his imagination and tells him - and us - he's just masturbating.

Are we really clear on that? The woman does NOT exist, he's just jerking off, the woman never existed and by the end of ep3 (where I'm at now) doesn't appear again, and you're telling me that scene had a MEANING and wasn't gratuitous and there for the sake of making it seem more "realistic", or rather, more shocking and had no other importance at all?

What are YOU, then, five? Basic representation of reality?! Seriously? LOL, okay. Maybe in a horny teenager's imagination that makes sense. As it is, that scene didn't need to be put in, but hey, I won't judge, get your sex scenes wherever you can get them, warranted or meaningless, whatever. Because, hey, tits! Bleah.

The way they're going about the "superpowers" thing is kind of dumb, though. It's like the killers/serial killers…
He's either the dumbest superhero, or the luckiest idiot killer. Either way, he's no shining beacon of intelligence. (Still on the 2nd ep, I'll see how it goes.)

PS The dog didn't eat her, he just licked the spilt blood. It doesn't follow he ate manflesh. Unless he ate the parents buried in the yard.

Second episode is better than the first. There's still hope for this.
The way they're going about the "superpowers" thing is kind of dumb, though. It's like the killers/serial killers are forced to throw themselves on him and he swats them away. I hope there's some better development later on.

Also, the dog is cute and they'd better not put him down.

For all the people mad about comments I've made before - see, they don't NEED sex scenes anyway.

In this drama, the weather is also random. It even rains at times! Also, the day follows the night and the night follows the day.

People also eat daily, and some of them use the shower, too. I wonder if there's going to be some drinking too (I already noticed some characters drinking coffee, though. Oops, spoiler?)

I didn't really expect those things to happen in a drama, just as I didn't expect random murder-related things to happen in a "noir" drama about murder.

I just hope I'm not spoiling anything by writing this...

/No, seriously, I'm sorry, it might be the mood, I feel snarky for some reason. But I still am not motivated enough to pretend that a random scene isn't random and it's going to spoil everything.

For anyone else reading this - I was telling them why the freaking sex scene is random. They knew I already said it was random. They say it's a spoiler - again.

You can't please everybody. If a random scene in the first episode of a drama is spoiling EVERYTHING interesting for the rest of the drama, then sorry and have it your way. I don't really care, TBH. It's not a hill I want to die on.

That's how she came off the first episode. What do you want me to do, NOT notice her?! That's all I said - she's a suspicious character and that's all.

And about what's going to come NEXT, again, I'm just starting episode 2, I have no idea what's going to happen next - are you telling me I am already proven right? So the characters really are as predictable and cliche as they appear in the first episode?

Oh well...

"The story follows Lee Tang, an ordinary college student, who gets into an argument with a customer during a part-time…
A totally RANDOM, USELESS, with no context, SEX SCENE. Out of the blue. And it turns out that he's basically jerking off - BY HIMSELF - and the scene is used to show how the man he killed is still haunting his mind. From a bystander's POV, just for the sake of the discussion... is it really needed? I am no freaking SJW, but I do get mad when I watch something like this.

Again - what the hell was I spoiling?! That scene MADE NO SENSE. It's unrelated to everything (at least up to episode 1). It's a freaking gratuitous sex scene that has no rational meaning related to anything in the story (again, so far). Are you telling me there's an upcoming orgy in future episodes that actually NEEDED that scene?

And you bet it's annoying - I don't care to see how a woman is basically using ML's body as a vibrator, when nothing in the story (SO FAR) is asking for it. And yeah, I got mad about it. I probably won't be the only one. It's used for shock factor, I got shocked, so it worked. Let me know if there's going to be some follow-up to it. Otherwise, it's still useless and random and basically downgrading for the sake of "being more noir".

"The story follows Lee Tang, an ordinary college student, who gets into an argument with a customer during a part-time…
I have no idea who that woman is and what her role in the story is so all I'm doing it writing my impression of her. And if I happen to say something about her that is going to turn out to be right, it only underlines my initial impression that the story - or at least its characters - are a bit tropey. Also, (forgive my tone if you feel I'm being a bit rude here but I can't help it), half the world's population is made up of women. There's bound to be some in a drama, statistically speaking.

So what exactly do you find spoilery? The fact that there IS A WOMAN in this drama?! Seriously? This is the first episode. Nothing important really happened, except for what's mentioned in the synopsis. Not every word not included in the synopsis is a spoiler, either... SMH.

I don’t think ShortCircuit knows there is a spoiler feature
"The story follows Lee Tang, an ordinary college student, who gets into an argument with a customer during a part-time job at a convenience store at night, unconsciously swings a hammer, and kills him. Suffering from guilt and fear of murder, Lee Tang learns one day that the person he killed was a serial killer and slowly realizes that he has a supernatural ability to identify "bad seeds". He soon becomes a dark hero who punishes people who committed unethical evils in the past.

A cold-blooded, charismatic and persistent detective starts to chase Lee Tang. ""

This is the freaking synopsis. WTF did I spoil? Learn to read and have a nice life.

maybe, put a spoiler tag? there are other watchers unlike us, who haven't started watching the show yet..and I…
It's just the first ep, I don't feel I'm spoiling anything - I have no idea where this is going, how it's going to end up, maybe it's just a slow setting up and then we (well, I) are going to be wow-ed by the sheer insanity of a great plot. But it feels like I've seen it before (that's why I mentioned all those things that feel familiar already...) Other than the random sex, everything is in the blurb of the drama, so I guess it would only surprise people who never read up what's it about, LOL.

I haven't read the webtoon, either, so everything is as-it-comes for me, in the drama, I have no expectations from it other that it should at least be entertaining. I am still hoping it changes the pace in the next episodes, but we'll see...

WTF was that sex scene in the middle of everything, with zero meaning and zero lead-up?! NF really can't help themselves, they believe everything needs to have a sex scene to be more "real".

Other than that, this looks a bit by the numbers - totally mid university student living a boring life, working part time, stumbling across some bad guy and getting lucky (in not being killed himself), police detective who has gut feelings and plays a smart-ass about them, colourless friends of the ML, colourless family of the ML, a strange blind (or at least legally-blind) girl who collects murder weapons for reasons we're going to find out at the end of the series, probably... I was kind of expecting more.

But it's still the first ep only, I'll wait it out a bit. I just hope they don't insert unneeded sex scenes randomly, they ruin whatever the drama did have going on, as little as it was.

Body in morgue - His brother's wife dead body.
It's JinMan himself in the morgue. He can use drugs to put himself into a coma for JiAn to see his "dead" body. And he has helpers - the cop who took her there is the one bringing him home in that cab, in the final scene.

If JinMan is alive... I'd say Bale is dead. But I seriously want to see HOW it happened LOL.

Pasin took MinHye, if she survived, he's good with medicine, he'd help her. JinMan has some competition to win her LOL.

But Ji An saw Jin Man's corpse in the morgue, right?! If he's alive, btw I'm so happy that he's actually alive,…
The cop who showed her the body is the man who's helping JinMan get out of the cab in the final scene. He's in on it. All his friends helped in tricking Bale to think JinMan is dead so that he - JinMan can proceed with removing Bale from the world.

As for why right then? JiAn is moving to her own place and going to places - university, part-time work, etc - she's too exposed for Bale to kidnap her and kill her. And then JeongMin "broke through" (or was allowed to) murthehelp, and so the danger became real and personal really fast.

JinMan had 14 years to prepare, but so did Bale. So he wanted as much advantage as he could get. They already showed us JinMan has access to drugs that make people really believe he's ill or something, why not some drugs to put him in a short-time profound coma so that JiAn can see the body and believe it's real (since it IS real)? Just appearances LOL.

Yup... going on 1.5x speed since ep3 is not a good thing. Things I've liked so far (in all 4 eps):

1. her blind date dress and her hair style
2. the quaint little Hwabon train station.

...And that's about it. The only character I'm starting to like is the unemployed loser brother. The tone of the story keeps hitting wrong notes with me and the discovery of whatever went wrong with the surgery isn't progressing much. TBH I'm very underwhelmed with the drama. I'll give it another two eps and decide if I'm going with it or dropping.
