I have not watched the current episodes yet but going by the production quality, storyline, acting and IQ....Story…
As if I cared about ANY ratings LOL. Who freaking cares?
I see your page says you're male - oh, an incel most probably, I'll just save my time and let you do your incelly thing so that you maybe will feel better about yourself :D
Have a nice life and do try to get out of the basement from time to time :)
I have not watched the current episodes yet but going by the production quality, storyline, acting and IQ....Story…
...And yet again, who cares about haters? Let people enjoy whatever they enjoy, don't be a Karen gatekeeper of dramaland - those should be the rules. (You can't reason with spoiled children anyway LOL).
Myself, I'm planning to do just that, despite knowing most of the tropes and expecting a lot of heartache and ridiculous pain before a probable HEA. I don't watch dramas to be taught philosophy, I watch them to be entertained - and this one drama does really good entertaining so far :D
I mean, the plot is pretty silly, the acting is cringy at times, there are way too many coincidences and impossible happenings, and I just can't take the ML acting as the ghost/spirit whatever, LOL, he talks so funny hahaha.
At the same time, I find myself coming back to it each episode. Like watching a trainwreck LOL.
At least there's Jung WoongIn in it, though I wonder how much does he have to work with.
I just hope the ghost stops repeating obsessively how he's going to kill the FL - we all KNOW you're not going to do it, LOL, so shut up ghost.
PS Strangely, the ML works BEAUTIFULLY as the original bodyowner, when he's acting foolishly in love with the other actress. I can totally buy that - so he CAN act - but the ghost-of-Joseon-past comes into play, he gets so stiff you'd have to use a laser to warm him up a bit. And the scene in ep3 where he made the SML of that pretend drama they're doing basically start crying from the emotion he was imparting, LOL, it's very rare to see something SO awkward hahaha.

I didn't know there was a competition. Everyone likes whatever they like. Also, MDL is an international site, watchers in here have a very small impact on ratings in general, and none at all on ratings in China, where the dramas are currently airing.
So what's the point of a comparison, other than distracting attention from EACH of the dramas being compared?
There's a lot of effort going on in here, LOL, in order to make the comment section cluttered so that people who are enjoying the drama won't bother. I promise you, whoever likes it will continue watching, whoever doesn't, will drop it. And there's zero guarantee that either faction will go over to another drama's page and start watching THAT.
This, coming from a Bai Lu fan and someone who actually kind of likes ZLH too. Coming over to complain and compare when nothing in here will actually change anything in the long run is oozing of childishness IMHO.
Peeps, I'm confused after watching ep 4. I thought Ki Ho was Bo Geol as he gave new shoes to Mo Hak during their…
If they're brothers, and KiHo ran away to his mother (who remarried and had another son) or was taken in by WooHak's family, and THEN his father found him, it all makes sense. WooHak is not remembering his own voice calling out to Crazy Dad, but KiHo's, who is presumably somewhere close, too. If Crazy Dad assaulted WooHak and gave him a hit that left him with amnesia, it doesn't immediately make him KiHo.
IMHO, BoGeol us definitely KiHo though he probably will continue hiding it.
Oh well, we had the date afternoon, so now we're going to get straight into dogblood territory, aren't we? T_T
Cui Lin stand-in is getting jealous, LOL. I hope he doesn't undermine the relationship just because he can.
And WHY OH WHY is Li Ni trying to save his father if he had such a bad upbringing?? Just forget about him for a day or two, it'll be taken care of! And his bros still haven't made it over - or did Sun Jing release them in the capital, not at large?
I LOLed at the sight of the official heir's guard in disguise getting wet through guarding against - whatever - in that courtyard, with a density of 2.1 guard per square meter hahaha. I mean... Let them get under some cover, LOL!
And the two horses were so cuuuuuute!!! I get it - symbolism and all bla bla bla, but the way they just went in that court, hahaha, so nice and matter-of-fact. I want to adopt them (I don't have either the money or the space but still).
With so much sugar... bad days are going to be straight ahead, if wuxia/xianxia taught me anything LOL. Here's hoping for a HEA!
PS When she asked him to close his eyes and keep them closed, I KNEW there'd be a kiss and he'd totally fall for it. It's what men do when they're smart military trained virgins in Ancient China, facing their first love hahaha! I still wonder at HER, though ::D
Actually, I don't think what A Ying/Lieutenant He did to Li Ni was bad at all. They are not officially couple…
Well, he never did want the throne anyway, why would he hurry up and go to the capital anyway? He seems to want to get his father out (what for, I have no idea yet, his father is either useless or a really great actor) and/or to find his cousin/the other surviving grandson and hand him the keys to the kingdom.
No hurry there, LOL. Anyway, these two are just two cats courting each other, claws are bound to come out from time to time LOL.
Li Ni: *gets oursmarted once*Li Ni: *proceeds to drown lots of neurons in hard booze because of it*Pei Xuan (worried…
Is it me or is He Ying playing a bit too harsh with him? I mean, the poor guy's falling in love and she's basically still treating it as a game of smarts. You'd think she'd have realised by now he's actually falling, not just pretending. This can't end up well for the short term.
I SURE HOPE the general accompanying the other Imperial Grandson doesn't do a treason thing and kills him. I want that kid to survive, you hear me show? Just because the ex-Crown Princess is still awesome, and that traitor who killed the Emperor is about to find out the hard way.
Also, is anyone else still LOLing about the date that ended up with a sinking ship? Director, you're SO CHEEKY LOL. Don't go there, though, This ship will sail full speed ahead.
PS I don't mind the trickster's tricks right now, though, LOL. I mean, we've all seen the OP and ED. There'll be good times and also bad times ahead - 'tis but a scratch!
Li Ni: *gets oursmarted once* Li Ni: *proceeds to drown lots of neurons in hard booze because of it* Pei Xuan (worried about his friend): What's wrong with you? Li Ni (totally out of the blue): So I have this friend. Pei Xuan (not so brain-dead actually): Oooooh you have a love problem. Li Ni (forcefully): I SAID, I have this FRIEND.
Not Li Ni about to bring the Pax Sinica over everything the sun touches - as soon as he gets to throw He Ying in a well again, LOL.
I just love how nobody gives a fig about the old Emperor who died and all his army of sons and previous 15 missing grandsons (the other surviving one - theoretically - should be Crown Prince's son). Also, the ex-Crown Princess is so badass.
The cinematography is still slaying basically every shot they're doing. The only slight downpoint I've seen so far is they didn't really invest all that much into massive armies pretend-soldiers and are relying on different angles to say they've got the numbers.
Doesn't matter, the two masterminds who are just now busy seducing each other with their out-tricking themselves and forgetting about just everything else are taking over the plot and I couldn't be happier, LOL.
This is filmed amazingly. If all eps are going as the first ep did, it's going to be a wild ride. I see the director is one of the directors of The Untamed, this makes me expect good things from him. I hope the script does justice to the cinematography and pace, everything looks so smooth and the shots are just - perfect.
The one saying I'm definitely Ki Ho is not him but How he got those memories that's the question and it's affecting…
KiHo was always secretive, though, right? Documenting the abuse but not making any waves until he was ready to run away, doing anything to get money so that the escape was successful but never explaining why he was so desperate for it, so that everybody in the class doesn't really like him. His one true bond is with MokHa and that mostly because they' re both victims of abuse, and in his mind, he's guilty for causing her to lose her life - until she's found again. And if WooHak's trauma and amnesia were caused by the dad finding KiHo and assaulting WooHak in the process, he'd be even more guilt-ladden.
If KBG is KiHo (I think he's the one), we'll probably see some flashbacks soon about how they all got to this point. I mean, a third of the drama already aired T_T
I wonder how Bogeol is going to explain himself after ep4's ending and deflect the fact he's Kiho. Like how did…
You're MokHa and KiHo just sent a bouquet of flowers and a meeting time with no meeting place. There is only one place they both settled on meeting again - the bus station. He knows where to go. As for the timing, the father too waited for a bit (or maybe even followed her, if he didn't already know about the station) so KiHo had time to catch up.
Who else thinks Ran Jo’s downfall was partly because of her personality? Like how the O’s described her as…
She wasn't really throwing tantrums, she was finding reasons not to sing because she was in the process of losing her voice and trying hard to hide it. And with the festival, she also was making up an excuse for sounding awful live - because her voice is now completely gone, despite the surgery she had.
As for using MokHa - she STILL won't get her voice back. It's not like MokHa will sing for her forever in order to make her a success again...

LOL he invented that trope in Ancient China :D
Thank you for the award - I don't know if it does anything, but it does look pretty :)
