I don't think either of them has the BRS yet. I think it's somewhere in those mountains, because it seems to act like a beacon to the minions. What LSS has is the Devil Bone that TTJ used to have - it doesn't exactly look like the BRS in what imagery of it we've seen so far. Though I guess something demonic COULD probably be made to look different, to mask it.

GY never had time to proffer his love for LSS in the previous timeline, maybe they didn't have such a close connection? LSS seemed a bit taken by surprise to be announced as engaged to him. Maybe she doesn't want to kick him to the side brutally but let him down slowly, since there's no sense of emergency anyway, for her, given she thinks TTJ is long dead and that part of their story is over.

I want LSS to suffer a bit, though - she made that man go through hell itself just to get her mission done. He got a 500 year acid burn load for her, she has to go win him back (not that it'll be too hard, given he's a goner for her already.)

Second, even if the BE is THE end, I don't mind, if it makes sense. These guys are immortals, something's always going to give a last hope in xianxia.

Third, didn't he also torch the freaking tomb? So why would there be the same two stones?

Fourth, if she does turn demon, maybe she comes to the tombs to complain to TTJ about having become a demon and losing him (since he'd be an immortal). Maybe she prepares the stone for both of them as either threat or promise, LOL.

There are so many versions of what could happen, I'd say let's not put the worst first.

LSS has the Devil Bone because she took it from TTJ, but he still has the Soul-Slaying Nails in his heart (nobody ever took them out) and is STILL the sacrifice child of the YiYue tribe as a vessel for the Devil God. And now he has the evil crossbow too, because he's unlucky like that.

This future's version of GY had an engagement with this future's original version of LSS (who never had to go to the past, because the original past LSS already got rid of the rising of DG in TTJ). Now she's obviously matured a bit, and is in love with TTJ anyway, so GY gets sent off to the margins.

The Bone-Refining Seal seems to have come to LSS or at least is somewhere around the mountains, because it's the place where MY made it, anyway. And the mountains ARE grown in place of the darkest demonic energy, that MY cleansed into the best immortal energy, so the place is the most ominous for both immortals and demons.
