His hands were trembling when SDJ was fighting to breathe - is he the instigator to the cinammon cookies?! I was thinking what if he's also allergic to cinnamon (that can't be an usual allergy type). What if it's proof SDJ is his son or something?

... On the other hand, he could be a timid killer LOL who can't face his dying victims. He did mess up the shooting at least. And then SDJ saved his life too, Maybe he's having regrets.

Anyway, he's interesting in a ghoulish kind of way.

But I agree, SDJ won't die - he already has the strongest plot armour invented, having been cut, hit, shot, drowned, poisoned (well, sort of), hit some more, strangled and drowned some more, now going into anaphylactic shock some more, LOL, it's now interesting to see how many new ways they can test the plot armour next :D

First time - she brought the bread in herself. And didn't throw it away despite knowing how bad his allergy is. So she did cause the situation in the first place, LOL.

When was the second time she "saved" him?

... IMHO, he's looking at her to provoke her and check if she cares she's poisoning him. I think he believes she told his enemies about the allergy and is aware the cookies have cinnamon on them. So he's calling her out to either try to stop him from eating them or face what she did to him, if she told.

Sadly, I think she didn't tell them herself - it could be in his medical files and the doctor son could have accessed them; it could be that the new (psych) doctor stole the info (I'd rather she did not but this is makjang, everything from death by papercut to a T-Rex riding alien is possible); it could be HID was always aware and just saved the info for later; it could be EunNam's new husband knew since they were in highschool together (though he actually shows no reaction and I don't think he's that good an actor, the character I mean, to keep from checking out what SDJ does.)

So we'll see.

Director Yeom is not his mentor. The money he used to impress on Yeom that he had scavenged a few million Won was borrowed (then returned). And that "stolen" (more like, blocked account) money was for survival - they were actively trying to kill him (remember his actual helper, Director Yoo, that he found murdered in his home?!) and he needed leverage.

He asked her because she came to him crying she still loves him. And he did love her. He was still keeping some small hope she's going to come to him anyway, that's how illogical love can be at times. The institution of marriage - what, is this the 19th century, seriously, LOL. And if it's about respecting the institution of marriage, let's talk about how everybody and their dog have secret children from affairs in this drama, LOL. Except Sister Agnes, I presume.

When would he have the time to get revenge on her for betraying him?! He was busy running for his life for a moment there. She is indeed a very terrible human being, and by ep7 you can see him starting to wake up from the daze.

Everyone seems to be frustrated with him being in love with someone who betrayed him. Like... did nobody commenting ever loved someone with a passion? Love can be blind, we've all been there. Still - as I've said... it seems to be ending for him.

The guy who drove the truck didn't need facial reconstruction that uses plaster or tons of makeup to cover bruises that would never heal - because he's not dead. Also, you just saw her "head" not the rest of the body. As far as we know, they might've put the rest of the body in a jar.

If you want nightmares, look up mortuary make-up, before and after, and look at the pictures. They can freaking rebuild a blown-off head, like seriously. There's a reason people actually pay for funeral homes and body preparation, particularly when it's a freaking open casket (and yes, there are cases where it CAN'T be an open casket, but it depends on a lot of things.)

So it's not far-fetched - SDJ has money, and DaeSan does too. They could cover it.

Dammit, just checked all the released songs, the cool slow song used whenever something revenge-related happens isn't out yet. Does anyone know who sings it? It around 15.30 mark on ep7, but they use it on more scenes in that ep (and other eps). That voice is hypnotic. I hope they release it as soon as possible, I have a new craving LOL.

Don't pity him, he totally doesn't deserve it. Ep7 will show you why.

He doesn't hope she comes to his rescue, he's thinking it's HER DOING. You can see the despair in his eyes. He thinks she sold him out or did it herself.

He'll be rescued anyway - because ML plot armour LOL - but he's doing it to sever the fool's hope she might not be in on it. And partly to fool the watchers, if he survives ('cause he doesn't know he has plot armour, LOL).

The ratings for the eps got hate-bombed (still are, actually). Don't mind the general ratings. When the cool kids get bored - or their preferred drama stops airing so this one isn't competing with it anymore - they're going to move over their next "victim".

It's strange though - this didn't use to be how MDL operated. I guess they either lack the voluntary manpower, or some of the admins or mods have other pressing life issues and can't commit as much time to cleaning up the messes some members would create.

He's kind of right, even if he's probably misunderstanding it. She did come to him and he got shot. She did take him to see his adoptive sister and she got killed. She did leave him without even letting him know and he got to witness her marriage unaware.

And now... he ate all those cookies thinking it was HER doing. That she either made them herself or told someone about the allergy. That face was the face of someone forcing down poison to wash the aftertaste of being betrayed by the love of his life.

For his sake... I really hope he remains doubtful about her, even if she comes around.

And what the hell was HID's reaction?!!! He was trembling with anticipation for something - what, either seeing SDJ die (and taking the 2T with him), or seeing him suffer?! Or maybe - just maybe... is the cinnamon allergy something genetic and he has a new idea about that?...

I was all in with the crazy old geezer scene - one second, SDJ is preparing to blow Yeom's brain off, the next he's threatening to blow his own brains off and Yeom went totally ballistic, LOL. "No, no, no, you didn't steal anything from me" - LOL, is that how it's played?! The saddest thing was SDJ was probably not even joking, in the heat of the moment. He really does have a lot of reasons to become depressed enough to consider it... I just hope he gets involved too much in the vengeance to dwell more on depressive thoughts.

I want SeonWoo and TaeYun to become friends, can we have that?

Ahhhh, such a good makjang. And action too - whatever did they do with the goon though? I think they want to keep him as a witness or something... but the Administrator seems inclined to hunt them down and find his man to take back. I hope SDJ doesn't forget about him.

I should've waited til this was over so I could binge it, the wait is a killer.

I wanted to wait out a few hours but couldn't help myself... Dammit, another 24h wait begins now.

I know it was a political move. It doesn't matter though - he DID send a warrant for the arrest, he DID mismanage the arrest (I mean in both timelines, too!), he DID skip punishing the culprits until it was too late the first time and almost too late the second time.

He was the Emperor, it's not like he's a prisoner of the court or a puppet monarch, either. And in both cases, he does not have a proper reason to even do it in the first place, just rumours and innuendos. If he's a good ruler, he wouldn't act like that based on simple rumours, he'd be in top of things and manage the court better.

Anyway - Song Mo was rebelling for a long time in ep1 (the scene where the Crown Prince commits suicide is the one where I got caught in the story, the CP actor acted flawlessly). SM and his army didn't just up and turned arms in a sudden decision, he was also plotting with the traitors in court. (Which is also a weakness in part of the Emperor - so if the traitor is in his family, he can close his eyes and lie still and not take notice. Because of blood. Others - including his best friend and a great general, and his family, and his soldiers etc - they can die or be subjected to torture and whatnot, as long as the Emperor doesn't have to punish his own sons).

...That's not a green flag Emperor at all.

If you're interested in seeing if there's a difference, try Wonderland of Love. She's much more vivacious, involved, acting her character than in this one.

The original warrant came from him. He's the origin of all evil things that happened to his friend and his family (and in the initial timeline, that also led to Song Mo and Dou Zhao's respective deaths, since it kick-started his falling into treason).

The ML is new to me, but I've seen Jiang Tian before and she was acting way better. It's not the character either, she's not really trying (as in, at all).

I like the dog, he's the best performer of the whole cast LOL.

The one from Blossom had his best friend forever arrested and allowed him to be murdered through non-intervention, all based on a simple doubt. I wouldn't call him a green flag at all.

He was so smooth with the "punishment" LOL, I bet he was just waiting for a chance to get him inside and not cause waves in the court hahaha~
