People have been routinely hating on this show since after episode 6 or 7 aired originally aired until now. While you believe the chemistry was great, many tend to believe that to have been the worst part of the show. That's the reason why people jokingly call it a bromance. It's not because they don't have kiss/bed scenes, it's because they don't come off as very romantic to many viewers. About the visuals of the leads, Bright is frankly one of the most, if not, *the* most categorically handsome guys to ever appear in a Thai BL to date. I don't know anyone who'd deny that.

We're getting 2gether the movie...just to have more scenes and tie up loose ends?...and in theaters?...if anyone had any doubts as to whether this franchise was a money grab or not, I hope this clears it up for you. lol

I think this story does focus more on Tian, as I think the main gist of it, aside from romance between him and Phupha, is how frivolous he was with his privileged life, how that frivolity caused fatal injury, and how that harm is not only coming back to haunt him (literally), but is also giving him a second chance to grow and give back in whatever way that he can in spite of, on several counts, being very much undeserving of such a chance. Lots of people don't deserve second chances, but sometimes they get them and with the blessing of the people they had a part in hurting. This series has shown Tian throwing himself into everything despite danger which comprises valuing his second chance in praxis, but in principle, it shows he's very much aware of himself now.

However, would I have also been happy with more about Phupha and a generally more fleshed-out role for Earth? Absolutely and I agree with you. I hope he gets the spotlight soon.

It's really sad to know we probably won't see these two together in BL anymore in the future, but it was a small consolation to have a nice little send off for them. Honestly, they have spent/spend so much time together and for most of that time, they're posting on social media, so there's no shortage of them for us fans who always want to know what they're up to.

As a production, I think it would have been a little nicer if this were more of a frank interview with them just going down memory lane of their experiences filming each series, highlights, difficulties etc., I feel like they didn't get to talk as deeply as I expected. All in all, I'm so proud of them and I wish them both the very best for the rest of their careers and lives. They've done so well both in their series and by being amazing advocates for the LGBTQ+ community (it's frankly sad that a larger number BL actors don't make a point of doing this as well, but that's another topic).

Even though I don't usually invest anything at all into female characters in BLs, I actually like Tiffy. As long as he's happy (and stays out of stupid toilet scenes from here on out), I'll be happy.

I really enjoy Tae's chemistry with Nite #2. This show's dynamic is completely different now.

It's impossible for me to feel strongly about Oxygen in either direction because so much of the series it was just sort of nothing happening between the leads. I enjoyed the uke of the side couple, the girl's little brother and gay doctor though.

Oh, it's definitely not Tae at all. He's not my type in the least. I don't really find any of the guys in the show to be attractive aside from Nite #2 (which is a bit of a bummer honestly). Que is *kinda* cute, but that's about it. It's good that it doesn't have a lot of tropes, as most tropes don't really take anything away from a show for me unless the show heavily relies on them, but I don't think that's a reason why I like it. It's a reason I don't hate it though, definitely. Lack of predictability sounds about right.

The Chinese word 鬼 (gui) literally translates as 'ghost', but in the context of the language, it can also be understood as "demon" "monster" "devil". So in this show, I think they're like demon/ghost, but not ghost in the literal sense.

That makes sense. It seems like the crime boss thing was thrown in possibly because it'd make for too idyllic of a setting if the villagers in this, presumably, poor town don't face any hardship as they as all seem to be relatively content otherwise. It is taking up a lot of time though. They could have just as easily highlighted the difficulty of daily life there (for people other than Tian) to get the point across that the reality of these people's lives isn't all fresh air, tea leaf picking, and village parties.

I still haven't quite figured out what it is that attracts me to this show, but I'll be back every damn week until the end. Maybe it's Nite's dopey simplicity with sprinkles of deep fairy wisdom. Maybe it's Namwan and Te's sweet friendship. Maybe it's pretending I'm on holiday in Thailand via all the slow scenes featuring the beach and lush greenery. I don't know.

What I do know is that Nite Number 2 is smoking hot, so I support anything that involves his happiness.

I’m actually a slightly bigger fan of Max which is why I very keenly notice how much less he finds himself shirtless on screen than Tul. lmao Like the cameras will spend a solid two minutes on shirtless Tul.

And about Max and Earth, I don’t know if the world would be able to handle all those abs at once. haha

If Earth is being objectified, then Tul must have been TV Thunder’s platinum status prostitute.

I think Phupha brought that up as a result of the doctor bringing it up to him in an earlier scene while they were drinking.
