I was first introduced to Asian dramas in college. During my sophomore year one of my suite mates was a transfer student from South Korea. She got my suite addicted to Boys Over Flowers. At the time I was being stubborn so I refused to watch the series. All I saw was the last episode. I thought it was silly and decided that k-dramas weren't my thing.

   2 years later when I was in my senior year, I was bored out of my mind while working the night shift at my job. I came across the k-drama Couple or Trouble. Thus my addiction to asian dramas began and so did my love of Oh Ji Ho (star of 2 of my fav dramas: Chuno & Couple or Trouble) and later on in an unexpected twist of irony, Lee Min Ho. For those who don't know, Lee Min Ho was the star of Boys Over Flowers. Seriously, I was so turned off by Boys Over Flowers, how is it that I became such a huge fan of this guy? The Universe must love screwing with me.

  Oh and before the die hard fans of Boys Over Flowers form an angry mob and come after me with pitchforks, I just want to say that I did eventually go back and watch some of the beginning episodes. I have to admit that my initial impression was wrong and the drama isn't that bad.
