It’s just her personality ig. I’ve come across this actress many times and there’s something off about her that I can’t quite pinpoint. And she’s done some other weirdish dramas/movies like this one too

However, the original Chinese version includes an extra scene that, for some reason, wasn't added in the YT version (any eng subbed version at that). IRL, yeah. But in the drama, he's playing the character of a man younger than 35. He mentions that in the scene where he talks with his father. In episode 1, it's hinted that the FL is around 28-30 (almost 30).
Overall, it's a decent watch and one of the better yakuza romance series. The ML is hot af. I was hoping to rate it highly, but it disappointed me. The kissing scenes weren't great, though there were some sweet moments to make up for that. There was no mention of marriage or engagement, which irked me. From our POV, the FL never finds out about the ML's large back tattoo. They could have easily added a scene where she saw him shirtless...I was expecting her to notice it, cuz it could have clarified the "yakuza" allegations. Solid 7.5 stars.
