That is actually insane. 🤦♀️😥 I have to really be honest here and say that the Chinese movie-making (dramas included) industry is honestly so toxic. I fully support actors because some are insanely out of this world talented, but what you are saying is just awful.
And yeah I did hear about that from Princess Royal when it was first airing, which honestly caused me to have no interest in watching it.
My only problem with this show for now is there are so many people relevant to the story and thus so many names…

Hmm yeah as others are saying it is really odd. I had heard the director (or whoever it is) had been generous with not censoring things that normally would have been redacted...but this doesn't sound generous haha
