But here, as per teasers, and spoilers, it seems as it gets revealed to Mo Xiu Yao, that it was Yeli's mother who was supposed to give the edict to his brother, who couldn't which lead to his brother, army others to get executed. He also hears the promise she did to his brother about curing him. He feels that Yeli did not want the marriage, but did it as a promise to his brother. So he writes a divorce letter to give her freedom. Yeli goes back to Lishan. But Mo Xiu Yao later gets a letter from her room, revealing it to him that she loved him too, and so he goes to her to Lishan. Again this is not confirmed entirely, its what the spoilers say on X.
