Exactly, its like complex. When she was hurt but alive, he wanted to believe it was due to alcohol or drugs that she drove like that, even without asking if she was okay. I think this is because firstly he knew she is alive hence he doesn't need to show care. He knew as per the footage Huiju is driving recklessly, so if its due to alcohol or drugs, he can be satisfied by finding a mistake of his sister, and even prove that to his father.
But when he heard someone wanted to kill her, he got tensed, because deep down he does care for her, and just wants her to loose not die. If he was that evil he would have been happy, if she dies, he doesn't need to fight. But he doesn't really want that. Maybe he also enjoys the sibling rivalry with his sister.

Both the siblings are greedy, they both want more power. While Huiju knows she deserves that because she excels in that, her brother thinks he deserves that because he is the legitimate son. Plus we were shown a scene where his mother faints when she hears the truth about FL being her husband's daughter. We don't know if that shock caused her death or something, maybe she was sick before and this caused her a huge shock. They need to clear this.
But even without this, for her brother she is a person who suddenly came to his life and disrupted it, rightfully has a share to everything, and is a step sibling. More important part- he knows she is good at what she does hence the jealousy.
But again he is not downright evil, though doesn't care very much about his sister, but doesn't hate her enough to let her die or something. Its like dysfunctional family but still family.

Truly. I love their tension here. So maybe they can do a thriller together where they start off on a wrong foot, and then end up together, so that I get to see their tension more.
Though Seung Yeon and BWS did have a drama together previously, but they were not a couple there.

Stop this, Hye yoon is really sweet and she doesn't deserve such toxic fans. People like you are making others hate Hye yoon. If you like a certain drama or a certain ship, spend time there, don't waste your time on things you hate.

Yeah that's a mistake. The novel and the drama have the same name, hence the confusion. But the drama script has nothing to do with the novel. Its an original script.

Or maybe PM can pretend to betray them to bring out the truth or something, like a plan, and not betray them actually. I want a plot twist so bad.

King Eternal Monarch was completely different, like huge difference with this one. This one is more into palace politics, that one was more into parallel universe with one single villain very evident from the first episode. If we have to call this one and king eternal monarch same just because both had constitutional monarchy, then all all lawyer themed dramas would be same, dramas like Hospital Playlist and Dr Romantic would also be the same because both of them have the concept of doctors.

Princess Hours? Isn't it a very old drama 2006? Pardon me, I have not watched that, I guess many haven't. The concept was fairly new to me here, the only resemblance it has is with The King Eternal Monarch, but again the similarity is only the constitutional monarchy part, rest everything is very different.
While this is not groundbreaking in any way, has few issues, but I thought the concept is really unique.
