Guys chill, to hell with ratings! MDL is just a fans forum, 500 people together can easily downvote a drama no matter how good it is. And we all know there are thousands of bots in this site.
What's important is, the drama should be good plot wise and story wise till episode 40. It should be enjoyable and exciting for the general audience as well as the fans. I am not mentioning the acting, because both of them are already doing really well, and I know they will do it till episode 40 as well.

Its important for the drama to do well in China, MDL ratings have nothing to do with it. So lets enjoy the drama without these crappy bots, and Weibo/X gossip nonsense.
I love Cheng Lei and Bai Lu and am hooked up with the drama till now, so be it 7.9 or 1.9, I don't give a damn, and will enjoy it.

Hopefully the exam went well.
