Really don’t get why this series is rated so low.Sure, there are a few logical gaps here and there—but honestly,…
I think a lot of people couldn't keep up with the flashbacks and amnesia gaps + the crime case on the side. which imo isn't that hard to follow if you get the whole picture together at the end. you understand what happened and why the characters did what they did. but a lot of people react negatively to mystery plots which is sad tbh. mystery series always have lower ratings...
also apparently some people hate the acting... which is super harshly judged imo for newbie actors they were pretty good. I think some people can't deal with it when they know an actor before seeing them acting because they always compare it to the "real life version" and the difference / seeing them in untypical situations is too jarring. or some are biased knowing that the actors basically got here through a reality tv show, that seems to lower their quality right from the start for some people....
idk what some people have to nag about the acting (this always is so extreme with korean dramas for some reason...)?? imo they are pretty good for new actors. It's just that the characters aren't the same old stereotype most people seem to compare them with (maybe some people should go out more (or watch more different series) to see how many different kind of people and personalities exist and how differently people react in situations).
I get the mains and like them a lot especially Haneul is absolutely adorable and funny.
Does anyone know if the youtube rerun release episodes are fully uncut?? :)
The yt rerun is cut! But only a bit, they shortened the NC scene and took out a scene with Wongi and Chinwoo (for whatever reason? they just talked about Junho, it's actually a funny scene) and the Aim x Yao foot scene got taken out :(
I have a good time with this and love that they are not the perfect couple, that they fight and struggle hard with the situation. But also Haneul, despite having lost 10 years of memories, still can't fully hate Saebyeok anymore because his subconsciousness remembers their relationship (he even said that in ep1 or 2, that his body remembers). ALSO they were best friends before they had that silly misunderstanding and fight before the accident. I feel like some people forgot that. They never actually hated each other, they both had a crush on each other back then already. They were just too dumdum to communicate properly, especially Saebyeok messed that up big time . So Haneul is now confused and torn between wanting to hate him but learning that they were dating for 7 years does make him shy and excited. Imagine you wake up and your stupid crush is suddenly almost your husband (+ he's rich and fame lol), but everything else went to shit somehow.
Also I don't think their acting is bad?? I am pretty sure the characters are supposed to be that way. Unsure and bit shy but also playful between the serious bits. And remember that Haneul is currently 19.
i am not a girl. and I am sorry I am just super annoyed that outdated clishes are still dragged through the fandom again and again since years, and the fish kiss is one of them that's long gone.
Thank god i didn't avoid watching it because of comments, because this movie is ART!
yea, some people really can not differentiate between "some dark topic they don't like / are uncomfortable with" and actual bad writing or acting... or occasionally also things they simply don't understand gets labeled as stupid
right like i didn't even think about the acting once until i came to the comments.... maybe my standards have…
nah, some people just can't take it when actors don't act same like every other popular actor and especially with k dramas people are so picky and salty with new actors...
Last Thai x Korean collaboration was... interesting let's say... We all are traumatized by Sangmin Dinnaew...…
The Bangkok Boy is the best Thai x Korean BL series so far and Hwang Junsu was in there as well, but as small side character 😁 i love to see him as main now
praying it won't have dead fish kisses like the usual kbls , trailer giving me hope for great storyline
how long have you not seen kbl? the fish kisses are long gone (they are a form of soft censorship tho). but it depends who is making the series. the last kbl I have seen had decent kisses.

It may be for people who also like Inception and Black Mirror.
