Oh, I'm in alright!

I'll admit it. Freely. I'm a sucker for medical dramas, & have been for as long as I can recall. This one already had me chuckling, & I do believe I cried twice. The characters are cool, & I can't wait to see where this goes!

It's just so GOOD!

This show isn't about the kinds of heroes who lift wrecked cars off of their victims, or who save people from a house fire. It's about the potential each & every one of us has to rise to our best versions of ourselves, whether the opportunity is brought on by those outside of ourselves or due to facing the consequences of our own mistakes &/choices, & moving forward with courage & integrity.

Things are still grim.

No matter the site, "My Mister" is highly rated. I doubt that's because the worst happens to the people I like in this drama. I have to keep telling myself that in order to continue!

I can't help but ask myself...

...what would I do if I found myself in any of their situations. As uncomfortable as they are to watch unfold, I believe it's what makes this such an excellent show. It's because I *can* imagine myself in their shoes. It's real life. They've managed to achieve & maintain intensity without much exaggeration at all, & I am digging it!

Something for everyone

Drama has intensified, & the comedy is less goofy. I probably won't drop it at this point, but the jury is still out. I wish I could figure out the "why" regarding not liking one of the main characters. They're pretty popular, in general, & I've ended up enjoying their other projects in spite of my reaction to them specifically. It's been like this for years so I really don't expect that to change much. It'd be nice, tho.

In the shaa-ha-ha-ha-lowws ...

Would it be really shallow of me to want to watch the next episode mainly because there's a chance I'll get to see Kim Sun Ho in uniform again?Yeah, I thought so. I'm not proud.Seriously, tho...this show is growing on me.

Would it be better without the comedy?

Well, maybe not *all* of the comedy, but the typical gags could go, for sure. Still not invested in that one, particular, main character, but the others are keeping me going. I try to give any series at least 4 episode before dropping so... Next!

Trips & other tropes

Aish...I want to like this more, but some things just really turn me off, you know? I've yet to begin to connect with one of the main characters. I've had this problem with this particular actor in the past; however, I've found that if I stick it out, whatever that's about (because I honestly don't know why I don't care for them) lessens enough for me to become invested in the story. Still moving on to Ep. 3.

I'm not hooked, yet...

Some shows hook a viewer right out of the gate. Others take a little time. Some never manage it. Although this first episode pulled me in enough to want to watch Ep. 2, it was only *just* enough.
