I think he's very couragous in his drama choices lately. But sometimes the end result isn't the same as the script promised. Regarding WTSG - it's a slapstick-comedy-sci-fi-romance - something completely different from anything in korean television. You have to adjust your viewing lens to enjoy it and maybe a wider range in what you love to watch.

IMO these aren't sci-fi but fantasy. There's no scientific background.
There haven't been many sci-fi Kdrama. The ones I would add to this little group are:

Are you human too
Wonderland (movie)
Space sweepers (movie)
I am not a robot (sci-fi aspects)
Melting me softly

I haven't seen Unlock my boss though.

10 episodes in and I'm still enjoying this a lot. It's funny, bizarre and unpredictable. Second kdrama where I am really curious to know what happens next. The first one was Mr. Plankton.

I agree. But I think Bae In Hyuk isn't that convincing regarding romance compaired to other actors or the SML here. Somehow the chemistry in his last dramas was always lacking to me ... even with Lee Se Young who basically has chemistry with a potatoe (not that Lee Jun Ho or Na In Woo look anything like potatoes. Lol). I don't know why, but Bae In Hyuk only convinced me as SML with Hyeri in "My roomate is a guminho".

I wouldn't call him evil. He's a nice person at his core whose life is pretty much turned upside down. He is heartbroken and deep inside he knows that his father is a bad person. And he saw his last remaining trustworthy friend beeing bullied and got carried away. He also overheard the old men belittle his family. That's a lot to take in in a very short time. So he basically snapped. I am sure he'll come to his senses. I feel sorry for him really.
The actor is killing it btw. He was always good but I think he can be upgraded to ML now.

It would have been less gripping for the audience if they knew what the main couple experienced during the rescue ... they probably were half frozen and silent because of the little oxygen that was left ... so basically there wasn't a lot to watch and the stakes felt higher this way.

The chemistry between the main couple could be better. The show is entertaining but also full of flaws. I have fun with it but I prefer the other shows airing right now like "Love scout", "Motel California" or "When the stars gossip". But give it a try. Many people love it.

This show stays consistently good. I would wish for more screentime for the second leads though. I really love them.

I really like this emotional rollercoaster of a drama. And finally it was revealed why the mother and Kang Hee behave the way they do. I wish the viewer would have gotten this information sooner though.
The two leads have amazing chemistry btw., even better that the two leads in Love scout IMO.

And the kiss sucked. They have chemistry in episode 13 though.

I doubt that JW will turn evil. The preview may be misleading. But if he turns evil that would be a case of character assassination since the development would feel too fast. Heartbreak can be devastating but I doubt that he'll become a real villain. That wouldn't fit the tone of the story I hope the 4 friends remind themselves of their friendship and turn the old men down. That would be fitting.

Episode 13 was really good . The show manages it somehow to be nothing extraordinary but still great to watch. The score remains great too.

This show is ridiculously funny ... like an Austin Powers movie. I am enjoying it a lot.

I think it's not clear how Jun Hwa will react.

The show is bringing nothing new to the table but the plot stays engaging somehow and I agree that the score is amazing - one of the best I´ve heard in a kdrama.
I hope that the SML doesn´t turn "evil". Same for Ko Sura. But maybe they just omitted something again that they reveal in the next episode.

I´m still thinking it´s hilarious that the prince JUST found out because she told him. LOL The amount of time is going against the cliche in this show. I think the chemistry is good now between the MLs but the kiss scene was lacking. I would have loved it though if the SML would have gotten her. The actors had better chemistry from the beginning.

BTW - I love the wife of the minister... especially her chats with her hubby. LOL

The actress did well in Branding in Seongsu or maybe that was Lomons doing. LOL

I agree. I like both actors but the ML is stiffer IMO. I loved SML in Moving. He's an excellent actor.

It doesn't mean the opposite either😉
