I really like this although it borders on beeing a bit too silly at times. It´s the first romcom this year that truly deserves the label "comedy". I prefer it to "My dearest nemesis" actually.

This was a good romcom. I didn´t like the redemption arc of the grandmother. It wasn´t truly earned.
But I liked the lead couple. There were many scenes that were funny. I wouldn´t watch it again in the near future. It´s great for people who like "True beauty", "My private life" or "What´s wrong with secretary Kim".

I understand. I have an opinion too. It's that exploiting underage girls or boys should have consequences no matter the status of the adult. I have observed groomers in my life and once I even intervened. So I share your disgust. I just don't know KSH. So I hope for hus sake that he's innocent although it doesn't seem like it. I just hope that people stating opinions as mere facts won't make the situation worse as long as he's not proven guilty.
I won't watch his dramas as long as I don't know. Btw I also don't listen to R.Kelly or Michael Jacksons music for the same reasons.
Sometimes it's frustrating to think of the amount of people using their fame to do disgusting things we'll probably never find out.

I know this. I just pointed out that participating in this discussion by taking any side is really difficult since we don't know the actors and their situation personally. People jump to conclusion very fast no matter if in the real world or on the internet. It's better to keep out of it IMO.

Yes, it seems unlikely that he's innocent. But I think it's not my right to judge someone I don't know personally. I think the internet sometimes does more harm than good. I like to leave it to the authorities to judge. Netizens could make it worse.
If you don't want to support the actor anymore the best possibility is to stop watching his work for now.

Although this looks suspicious, things aren't always what they seem. I don't defend or accuse anyone. I'm not the police nor a jury. But I truly am uncomfortable judging KSH until proven guilty. He may look guilty but we can't be sure.
Imagine he really is innocent and reacts the same way Kim Sae Ron did.
It's a truly messy situation.

This was the second version I watched of the manga. IMO the thai version is superior to the korean one. It has got a faster pace, concentrates more on the main plot, exludes the most ridiculous story lines or reinterprets them in a way they make more sense and move the main plot forward. The overall tone is way more comedic, the actors clearly feel like comic-characters. The main leads both manage to stay (fl) or become (ml) likable as the story progresses. They act well in almost all the scenes. The secondary characters stay a bit bland but are okay. I liked the emphasis on the boys friendship, the meaning of family and the true meaning of beeing happy. It's also satisfiing to watch that bullying isn't okay and that bullys should be held accountable.
Thymes mother was also a highlight for me.
It was an enjoyable watch from start to finish.

And here another big name falls....
It doesn't matter where you are on this planet. But beeing famous does the worst things to people. Story as old as time.
It's a pity.

I think many people hoped for a typical romance which this isn't.

I really like the story. It's different and keeps me hooked. It doesn't matter that the leads aren't taking part in the story at any time because in the end all the threads will come together. I hope for a happy ending.
If some viewers don't like it because the main couple isn' t really interacting with each other then maybe it's not the right show for them. I mean, there are so much kdramas with the same romance plot even airing right now. If this show doesn't grab you right away, I'd recommend watching "My dearest nemesis" or "The potato lab" instead. They are typical romcoms and pretty enjoyable.

I think it's best to not label this show as a romance and just like the story for what it is. There are romantic aspects but it's first and foremost a mistery thriller with slice of life elements and a little fantasy. It's slowly told by well written.

I finished this yesterday and would have written exactly the same. The middle part is draggy. The ending wasn't satisfactory either, especially the way the writers handled Lao Gao with the cancer-card. Some side characters behaved in a way I couldn't really understand like the SFL. I didn't get her devotion to the ML cause there wasn't a connection that deep between them.
Some dialogues in this drama were irritating , especially the reconcilation of the main couple in the end.
I liked the drama and the main couple but the issues between them could have been adressed better. The ML could have given the FL some insight in the way he behaved. But I think that's the point of his character who basically can't express his feelings with words.
But overall ot was enjoyable. I really liked the portrayal of her parents. They reacted realistically. I didn't mind the open end. I also loved the work-crew in the second half.

I also like that the filming locations aren't the typical ones.

The drama really knows comedy. I really laughed a lot... especially at the montage of the ML where he shows his various talents. I couldn't stop laughing when he danced. Lol
I also loved the scene where the FL "handles" her ex. She's a great actress.

I disagree about the acting. I think the leads were very natural and had equal chemistry. I agree that some characters acted childish but not necessarily dumb. Imo the antagonist in FL was less fleshed out though. His whole agenda was pettyand I guess a bit unrealistic. That's much better in L&P.

Maybe I feel the same after I completed my watch. I really like it do far.

That's a reason why I prefer Forever Love to this so far. The female lead is capable too and has nobtime for bulls*t

I'm currently watching this for the first time. I have arrived at the three year time skip after they get together. So far it's a nice drama and the leads act well and very natural. Their chemistry is really palpable. I also feel smpathetic for the second male lead. They run over him all the time without paying attention to his feelings and goals. His development is understandable. The actor is also very good.
But I must also say that so far it's not much happening. I prefer the youth dramas Forever love and Our secret so far. But I guess Lighter and Princess will become more angsty as the episodes progress thinking back at the first episode.

I have to confess that although it's not the funniest drama airing right now that for me it's the one that captivates me the most and the one I can't wait to continue. I really enjoy Undercover Highschool abd My dearest nemesis too but this one has my heart the most. And they haven't even met yet.

The drama serves exactly what the title promised - a lot of comedy in a "fish out of water"-plot like many others before.
I love the meta references of the SFL.
I love the main couple.
I could have lived without the whole bird-scene in episode one. The CGI was terrible and it was too over the top.
I loved the sequene of ML trying to get to work.
