In this drama it's necessary, the fl already has a crush on the ml because he reminds her of her first love from…
I know and it's okay. But it's funny that there are almost no romcom kdramas without this particular trope while it's not much used in western romcoms.
I liked the movie although the characters could have been more fleshed out. The setting screams for a longform drama. So I am eagerly awaiting the series. There's lots more potential in the story than shown here. Maybe Ji Chang Wook gets a chance to show more layers of his character. He's rarely speaking in the movie. But all in all it's a good action movie with great visuals and action scenes.
I really enjoy this. But I really could live without the childhood connection trope that rears its ugly head. I don't know why people can't meet as adults in these dramas. You can form a deep connection by meeting later in life. It' s not impossible. Lol
My least fave trope has to be the childhood connection which wasn't included. It's what I love about western dramas cause it almost never happens there. But western dramas have annoying tropes too.
I like the lead actors but am not sure that this kind of comedy will work for me. It' reminding me of Brewing love which I dropped but also Wok of love which I really liked in the end. So I guess I have to wait and see. But all the other kdramas airing that I watch so far have kept me hooked more. I guess if you enjoyed Brewing love or Business proposal you'll like this one too with it's slapstick comedy.
I really like how this is written. The story is slow but keeps me hooked. Epidode 5 was the best so far. It's not your average love story but I guess there's plenty of that airing at the moment if this story doesn't fit your taste. I guess the protagonists will meet when it ends what fits the story. Like in "Sleepless in Seattle" which I loved too.
Maybe no one will agree with me, but the second couple showed more intense and transitional acting in the story.…
I agree with you. IMO Lee Jun Young is a powerhouse when it comes to acting. He nails every role and yoz feel any emotion he trues to sell. SfL was great too. I like the main leads but they were the weakest part if the series for me. I loved Choi Woo Shik in the nkn romantic scenes more. He'a a great actor too.
I love the drama but demands perseverance. . Every going backward and forwards is related to a traumatic incident…
I got that it was related to trauma but the pacing was off nevertheless. I finally watched the finale and I think it elevates the drama as it is really wholesome. I felt happy in the end. I really loved the main leads. The acting was great too. 10 episodes would have been better though.
After watching the finale I just say that I am glad I did. The ending - although a bit rushed and fairytalelike - it is quite satisfiing. And the cinematography was beautiful. If they cut the middle part of the drama shorter with less side stories, it would have been great. I loved the acting very much too.
I must confess that I enjoyed the story up to episode 12. But I agree that the last two episodes have too many…
I haven't had the time to rewatch a kdrama too tbh. But some american and british shows (especially comedies) I tended to rewatch from time to time. But kdramaland is a land that never ceases to give...so it's hard to rewatch older stuff but I definetily will at some point.
I haven't watched the last too episodes yet cause there are too many other shows that are more interesting for me. Unfortunately this one started so great. LSY is a fantastic actress and NIW surprised me positively in this drama. They had tons of chemistry. I also liked the cinematography, the premise, the support cast . It's just that the story puts obstacle on obstacle for the main couple without ever truly resolving anything. It's really exhausting after episode 8. I guess I will watch the finale sometime but the drama has serious script issues. It's like they had all the right ingridients for a delicious meal and added too much salt.
But all in all it's a good action movie with great visuals and action scenes.

I loved Esther btw - I wish her part was bigger.
