I'm on episode 13 now.

First 8 episodes feels a bit of a drag. I was not really hating it. I'm not liking it either. It was a good turn around when you get to see the ML have an emotional breakdown and that's where I feel more invested but until then my general feeling of the show is the same. It feels overhype, plot/storytelling was not as compelling and interesting as I was hoping. I can see why many people would drop it, I was tempted to do so.

Aesthetically tho, the show's cinematography is beautiful. And of course, the leads are beautiful to look at and they do have physical chemistry. The acting was also great.

Let's see if there are any great happenings in the next 3 episodes.

How did this series spawn sequels? It was nothing special.

Fiat's character is probably the most tragic. He had twisted idea of love, maltreated as a kid, gang raped, unrequited love - ended up in suicide.

The dad is just a piece of shit, offering her daughter as a sacrificial lamb.

I'm in between whether the gift seller should be a real person and not a supernatural entity. I think it would have been scarier if he was a real person but at the same time, the supernatural aspect provide the moral dilemma and symbolism of hate.

I don't get how Num is the old one suffered with old age. Didn't Kim also have a very short lifespan too?

The first few episodes are probably my favorite. Well, you have Fiat running around naked lol.

I was expecting way too much from this series and ended up disappointed.

I like this type of genre. But I feel like the acting was not as superb and the storyline was not that great. I was not really attached to any characters, and don't really care if they die or survive.

The show and plot was heavily socio-political based and driven. They rely a lot on that to tell the story.

Im on episode 2, I think Fiat is good looking but I feel not so sold on him as the lead tho.

I don't even understand May's existence in the show. Why? I thought at first she was a younger sister of Thada then it becomes some weird psycho love obsessive girl. She is like an elementary student, locked up on her room. So confused. She should be in a psych ward. She should not be tolerated to see Thada.

I made it halfway. Getting bored. The pretty faces of two ML only saving it for me. Na is pretty to look at. I don't mind waking up naked next to Thada.

This is the second series Ive watch with Tay Tawan.

So Ok, I had to admit. HE IS SO CUTE.

I really like Art but I just hate how he kept all his feelings until confronted at the end of the series. The whole plot of getting into fight with OngArt is so stupid. It was a convenient plot for the writers to put Art out of the love triangle storyline.

Chompoon is defo a fan favorite.

There is zero chemistry between Puen and Prim. I cringe everytime they push it. Puen and Foon had a good screen chemistry. Puen could have just made up his mind and sort his feelings early on and won't have this messy plot problem.

At the end it was disappointing that writers did not put them in the same frame (instead use a flashback frame meh). It would have been nice to see a flashforward where Go and Poon had their own family. Puen/Foon had theirs too. Prim and Art finally happily dating.

This series is okay. If you are generally looking for a slice of life/slow pace storytelling about friendship then maybe this is for you. The characters can be infuriating, the show can easily condensed into 10-12 episodes, but the whole love romantic angle was stretched out. The actors were good in portraying the characters.

I think it was a good decision to make this as a series. I still wanted the original cast tho, but the actors in this series were able to match and pull it through so I am quite happy with it. What I like is that they did not just plainly retell the movie, but actually tell more stories. Quite exciting, even if I've seen the movie.

What I like more is that this is not just about cheating, it actually deals more on the socio-economic, family and friendship. At the end of the series, I am interested to see how the story can progress if they actually give this a season 2; maybe a big time jump?

I am watching O-Negative now, and I think she is hilarious in there. And damn, all I can see now is that she is not only an actress but a great screenwriter. WOW

I like having good conversation. Of course, you can dislike or like a series for whatever reason you have. It's understandable. I also hope that the second half of the series will have much more growth in the characters of the two.

To some degree I agree with you, but people comes from different perspective and they can react in scenarios differently. I understand Teh situation and feelings. He was pretty consistent; he tries to help a friend to get something, and when they do, he felt bad about himself and react negatively. I don't know about you, but people with high ego are pretty much like that, they at first want to help others who are 'in need' to feel that they are great and helpful, and when the person they are helping succeeded or overpass them, they felt useless and it become in their mind a rival. I guess, I think you should probably appreciate where Teh personality or where he is coming from. I don't know, but of course, not everybody likes everyone, it is bound to happen. But Teh personality and reaction is pretty common, not farfetch, and very real.

I'm actually scared of season2 because the expectation is sky high.
