manga is the real deal - anime follows closely.
the 2012 Akira GTO follows closer to the manga sensibility, but Sorimachi Takashi was a better Onizuka imo
Cool drama. Yoon Sang Hyun is awesome as usual.
This was the first Korean Drama I watched, they ran it about 5 years ago on the Korean channel in New Zealand
It's difficult to determine whether this drama is trying to take itself seriously or is a self-parody.. It presents the story of Yamazaki Kazuma, a hen-pecked husband and how he deals with his married life. I watched it for the connection to At Home Dad, but.. quite an odd one. Basically he is bullied 24/7 by his wife, and it's quite sad..
Randomly inter-woven into the perpetual agony is the occasional 'feel-good' moment which is presumably preventing the audience from slitting their own throats... However, this seems to be attemptimg to assure the viewer that we accept the old-fashioned way of thinking, with a touch of "New".
The anarchic ridiculous chaotic comedy makes some laughs at times though, so good fun.
Recommended if you like women beating up on men for comedy, not funny in real life.. Maybe
people shouldn't make a trivial you-know-what of domestic violence.
Ueno Juri is amazing, but i'm not sure, as someone who supposedly suffers from a form of asperger's syndrome she sorta annoyed me a bit. Good premise, excellent classical music
