It's a story about the irrelevance of youth and the importance of relationships. I can't put it into words but this drama gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside
Seeing as I'm not a fan of detective series, I wanted to watch this because of Kitagawa Keiko & the butler-heiress…
You might enjoy it. I'm not too keen on detective genre either - Sakurai Sho & K Keiko are at the top of their game and very entertaining. It's more episodic rather than a lengthy story arc. Oddly enough I thought the specials & the movie were better than the tv series.. perhaps the murder mystery genre works better in a 1:30 - 2:00hr slot i dunno
Pretty good this. Women who moan when they haven't got a boyfriend and moan about it when they do.. Karina is completely suited to her role as a clumsy indecisive tomboy. The last part of the finale was filmed live which was a nice touch, and she mucked up her lines
I must admit I was sceptical going into this drama, having an older brother that suffers from cerebal palsy I hoped they wouldn't trivialize mental disability for comedic effect. But the story is down to earth, it's very heartwarming and Karina is awesome as usual. Yees the 2 year old Himawari is so cute :D
I agree with Blademan this story is quite silly I don't understand why the guy was falling over himself chasing after that contemptible woman. Yamato Nadeshiko = the 'ideal woman' this story seems quite detached from reality and perhaps the screenwriter's own subjective view of the world but some might like it i guess. The wife loves it so each to their own.
Conceptually this drama was good, and the cast was excellent. I suppose where it fell short is that none of the characters had any redeeming features and I found it hard to feel any empathy towards them. Kaoruko is just a b*tch, Souta - what a great big douche, and Saeko.. well, i just wanted to tip a bucket of chocolate over her head every time she walked in the room.
