This show is going to be the death of me! Can't we get a damn restraining order against those two lunatic women coming into the diner? Why aren't all the adults condemning Da Jung and sending her to anger management or to a psychiatric facility? They are all doormats! What is up with sickening-loyal Young Shin in every respect--allowing Da Jung to do this to her and refusing to date Jung Hoon? She should stay resigned...but I know that would be the end of the dragged-out storyline so it's never going to happen. Oh, and is Pil Sun turning out to be a con-woman after all?
I was caught by surprise by this short drama and loved it although I didn't understand it all that well. I'm glad it's brief so I can rewatch it from beginning to end
I find the approach and concept of the series, shown as if it's a reality show being filmed, to be refreshing, .however, Eun Oh/Sun Ah still isn't achieving any respect or favor from me despite learning her reason for going wild for 3 months. She will really need to try harder to win any sympathy, understand or approval from me.
I couldn't wait for this series to just be over. I stuck with it only because I had come so far and didn't want to quit. Enough's been said about the jerk--he never gained my sympathy and how she chose him over the CEO is just a pathetic mystery to me. But how the second lead couple, who were devoted and had my interest at first kept making up and breaking up after seemingly hacking it out several times, became so repetitive and tiresome to the point of being inane . Why the dying mother didn't tell her daughter her last wish was for her to marry the guy is a puzzle. The third couple contained the brat who got pissy and made her hardworking, dotingly-faithful guy practically apologize for living was also annoying. She manifested a character trait I personally loathe in both dramas and real life--when Women from Venus blow up at Men from Mars and the poor guy is frankly clueless as to what just happened.
For PBG. I felt like this drama was art imitating life knowing he was going to enlist after completing filming. He must have really been suffering having to face all he was going to be leaving behind for the next two years.
The end felt like the middle as far as the romance went--no chemistry, just bantering back and forth. We never even got a final kiss. But in the age of covid, I guess that was a wise choice for the actors.
I never grew to like the female lead. H character was angry and defensive all the time. I didn't feel she was a good enh person to deserve kind, caring Dr. Woo. The storyline felt flat without much purpose.
I think it's off to a good start. I'm hoping for upbeat, fun, uplifting themes, especially since it's following feel-good Once Again. I believe we need lighthearted, positive viewing now with all the disarray we're experiencing daily during this pandemic and all the other, almost-unfathomable negative forces we're facing (like wild fires here in CA.)
I loved every minute, and looked forward to this drama each week and just wanted this family to never end. It was fun, uplifting and upbeat which is just what we needed for these very trying times with local, national, and global disasters of every type. The final epi, however, was the only disappointment for me. I had hoped to see 6 weddings (2 daughters since Na Hee just went and registered), 2 rooftop guys, sister/aunt, SIL/aunt. I thought it would be original and crazy fun if they all got married at once or at least in the same final epis. Well, that didn't happen. I felt frustrated that we were left with suggestions but no official ending for Ga Hee and her son and Young Sook. I much prefer definite endings instead of relationships left to my imagination.
My only thought is hoping Jung So Min doesn't fall for either guy in reel life and goes back to Lee Joon in real life! I'm still heartbroken and want them to get back together.
