I dropped the prequel a few years ago do I need to watch the prequel to watch this ?

I thought switch girl was a weird drama. Also they will obviously cast an actress who fits the beauty standards and when she's without makeup she will still look the same. It doesn't work. For switch girl her face was the same bit she just dressed differently.
