I watched the first episode, it took me 3 hours to get through it. How TF is this trash rated so high and so popular? It's practically unwatchable garbage

Yeah, I was shocked. It honestly seemed like if she asked him the same thing earlier, he would have. He just couldn't since they were too far through the process already

I like how Maewnam is more the caring and protective one with Wan. It's cute especially since it's normally Milk being that for Love. Kind of a role reversal from most of the clips of them I've seen

I completely agree, it's definitely not a procedural imo, even the main case of the week gets almost no screen time. The show focusing on the friends lives more than anything else is so refreshing and entertaining to me

One thing I don't get, is if Aira knew where Tawan worked and was so desperate to see her, why didn't she reach out until the point she did? Like, she could have gone to see her before she was being threatened lol

I like how Tawan was able to realize pretty much immediately why Aira joined the Kendo club, and what she actually loved doing, and convinced her to do what she actually wanted to do while promising to keep talking and hanging out with her. She really seems like a senior student that not only likes and cares for Aira, but actually gives a shit about her juniors in general

Yeah, the Subway scene was like whiplash lol. Came out of nowhere and didn't fit the rest of the show, like at all

I already 100% hated Wan's mother, but after ep 6?!? You still act like you're the authority when it comes to Wan even though she's pushing 30, if not in her 30s by this point when you talk to Pleng, when all the while you already know that you already lost the right to even speak to your daughter because of your ridiculous behavior? I swear, at this point I don't have anything against the actress personally, but just seeing her literally makes my blood boil because I've only seen her as the worst, most complete piece of shit, absolute bitch of a mother in every role I've seen her in. Who TF are you to try and interfere in your daughters life while she isn't there when your daughter refuses to even speak to you? GFY bitch

It's funny because even though it is "case of the week," it's not really a procedural show. Like, there's one "major" case going on during the episode, but that case is like 15-25% of the runtime max (more for ep 8, but that's a family member of the main cast, so ofc it gets more attention.) This is really more just 5 lawyers that are friends and pseudo? coworkers, that help each other with life/work problems and enjoy meals together. I don't really understand the firms dynamic since they merged. It's like they are still 4 firms, but 1 firm?

I don't feel it applies to them personally, but your first sentence makes me thing of Im Ji Yeon and Ji Chang Wook. If ever there were siblings that weren't bio related, it's them lol

I absolutely love it, but I can clearly see how people don't like it. It's way slower than like 90+% of the dramas I've watched. If someone wants things happening every 10 minutes, they will absolutely hate this show. That's not a problem really, it just is what it is

He didn't seem like a bad guy until he refused to accept her no. Even she didn't have a problem with him until then. I said if he just accepted her no and left, he would still seem like a good guy. Yes, she was just being nice since he was a good customer, but even though it was unintentional, it looked like interest to him. He isn't inherently a bad guy just because he bought her flowers and asked her out. He is a bad guy because he assaulted her for refusing him

They do look young for it, but my BIL is an associate dean of a university at 50, and he started as a professor and doesn't even have a PHD FWIW

This show really depends on your tastes. If you like slow paced slice of life shows with a slow burn romance, you'll enjoy it. If you want something with a faster pace, you'll probably hate it.

I personally really like it, but it's definitely not a show for everybody

I know it was an emotional scene, but I bust up laughing the first time they showed her funeral. Him just grabbing her ashes and walking out when nobody, even her, really knew who tf he was
