As long as it wasn't plugged in and on when she dropped it in the bowl, that HDD would still work fine once they get it bone dry again. I've washed electronics with soap and water before to get built up dust and smokers grime off of them. Water is only an issue when they are powered on

The cops and the ferris wheel where a stretch, but I think she was on the phone with him the entire time. He was at home when she called and said his mother was deteriorating, so they probably stayed on the phone the entire time with her manipulating him until she was sure he was speeding and ready for the news

I doubt it, it was just a throwaway line they used to show they are from the future, just like in ep 1 when Misa said they needed to make their product Instagrammable. Using phrases that are commonplace now, but never used 10 years ago

Yeah they made Tomoya really stupid lol. He honestly didn't have one good quality in this one imo. At least in the KDrama, Min Hwan was charismatic and friendly in public, and really only trash behind closed doors. In this one, he was stupid, broke, bad at his job, a loser, momma's boy

I didn't measure it to be sure, but I can eyeball certain angles pretty well (occupational hazard) and it's tilted slightly more than a 22.5, so they probably have it exactly 23.5 degrees tilted.

I think the only people Wan owed apologies to is Chom's mother and the workers she accused of stealing. Nobody else deserves one imo

Reina wasn't innocent in the 2nd life at all. She never killed anyone or cheated with Tomoya like the 1st life, but they've still been "friends" for like 20 years and she spent that entire time ruining Misa's life.

As for Tomoya, all Misa really wanted was to not marry him. It's not like either of them had a different personality in the 2nd life. They were the exact same as they were in 2015 during the 1st life. Reina even attempted the exact same attacks on Misa, like trying to make her miss the meeting in ep 1 by "accidentally" sending the wrong location and stuff.

Tomoya I agree with, they tried to humanize him a bit. But I don't think Reina was actually making it emotional and humanizing. She realized she was done for, regardless if she lived or not and decided to blame Misa and jump, essentially doing the exact same thing her mother did to her that made her so sociopathic. It was like a last ditch effort to make sure Misa was never happy

I loved both versions. I don't see how liking the Korean version would make you dislike this one

Aylin is cute, and it's hilarious how she's like completely oblivious to everything on one hand, but ridiculously perceptive and helpful to Ongsa on the other

The director needs to teach a class on how to pick good scripts or something. He hasn't missed once in like 10 years

The ex fiancee plot was in the novel but not the webtoon. This version was inspired by the novel and the j version was inspired by the webtoon, so the stories are largely the same but there are also major differences in the plot due to being adaptations of different works. That plot line did suck though

I feel the opposite really. It felt like Misa was more in control of her revenge and was able to force them together and continue the momentum to their ends. In the KDrama, a lot of times it felt like the revenge was just happening with Ji Won basically being a bystander. There was more satisfaction in a way at the end of the Su Min arc, since it was Ji Won that took her down; and yeah Misa didn't kill or stop Reina, but the Ferris Wheel scene was pretty powerful

When Wataru was crashing, the screen went to black then showed a doctor calling time of death. Then the camera zoomed out and it was Tomoya. That was the scene where his mom collapsed on top of him crying

I dont' agree with it being anti-Catholic, can see how some might take it that way. The main villain is Catholic, the school is Catholic, the principal that SAed SoMi is Catholic, etc.
