I think they meant more the fact that he went to the hospital with a swollen cheek, 2 black eyes and scrapes all over his face, was only in the hospital for like a day and was blemish free when he left. Punch Drunk does come and go though, kind of like migraines. You never know when an episode is going to hit, but when it does it does with a vengeance.

I agree that I don't think Misa would act like that, but there could be a 4th party. Tomoya never wanted to marry Reina, even more so than Min Hwan and Su Min. He could easily be getting something on the side already, and it doesn't even have to be a named character.

There's also the fact that they showed Reina going to the warehouse or whatever it is and met back up with the old lazy boss. That didn't happen in the KDrama IIRC, and Reina has 0 shame. I could see it being a gender swap on the cheating and she starts sleeping with or "dating" him trying to get something out of it and Tomoyo catches her in that.

I'm confused, they fired mean girls bf to make room for Khem on the team, yet May who was showing her around said they are the least staffed team? If they are understaffed, they aren't going to fire someone for a nepo hire. It seems to me that there's actually a reason the dude got fired, or that was just a really bad plot hole

Binged it all, finished about 2 hours ago now lol. I'm going to wait until the last ep of S2 comes out then watch it as well

I knew nothing about this show, read the synopsis and decided to try it. Like 30 seconds in, I realized I didn't understand the synopsis at all, lol. I thought it was going to be her chasing Khem to get her inheritance, not a contract marriage, 1 sided love type show where the original proposer was actually the "cold" one. 10 minutes into the first ep and I'm liking it though

The lady that Reina's dad ran off with is Misa's mother. She hates Misa because her mother took away her father, who was the only remotely close to caring parent. Reina's mom you saw, Misa's dad loved her with his whole heart like you saw and Reina couldn't stand the fact that even though they both lost a parent due to the same affair, Misa still had a loving home while she didn't.

She also obviously has mental issues. She wants to be the only thing Misa can rely on, while behind her back making her life as bad as possible. She has a need to make sure Misa is never happy, and the only way to do that is to be her sister-like friend.

There actually IS a reason Reina hates her. It just hasn't been shown yet, and that's IF they are following the same story as the KDrama and webtoon for it. If you want to know, I'll have another post spoilered on here.

It's a very slow paced, slice of life drama. It's very good, but if you don't like slow shows, you'll probably not enjoy it

I'm with you honestly. When I think of guest role, it's someone that's there, and not constant even in those episodes, for like 3 episodes max. Any more than that, and you aren't a "guest," you're part of the cast

His bullheadedness is honestly a liability to his own life and the entire team atp. I get the feeling of need to see it through to the end, but there's a point where you need to take a step back and let your team handle it. That point was honestly in like ep 6...

I couldn't imagine going to your bar so you can vent to your friends about the adorable girl that's driving you crazy only to see said girl sitting there getting tips on how to get with you lol. No wonder Hiroko ran out of the door

Just finished ep 3 and it's super cute, but if Hiroko is as skilled as her friends say she is, I don't understand how she can't tell how hard Ayaka is trying to get with her by this point lol. She isn't pulling any punches and is hardcore flirting with her. There's straight, uninterested in anything actually happening flirting, yes, but Ayaka is way beyond that at this point

I'm half way through ep 2 of Ayaka is in Love With Hiroko and it's so ridiculously cute lol. I don't think I've stopped grinning or laughing since the first minute of it

Chang Won has been the annoying friend to me the entire time, but he's really getting on my last nerve now. Like 10 minutes into 5 and istg he's making my blood boil

I think it was a bad call on her part personally, but it did make her journey to happiness more visual. Min Young gained more weight and looked healthier as the drama went on. I wouldn't be surprised if she was back up to mid 40's by the finale. I also get losing all the weight to play a cancer patient, but that was only like 20 minutes of the show. If she was playing a terminal patient for the whole drama, or even half of the drama, I think it would have made more sense. Kind of like Christian Bale in the POW movie "Rescue Dawn."

Yeah, that storyline is pretty different from the Korean version. I'm curious to see how it goes in this one. Without giving much away, she had more support than just Ji Won (Misa) in the Korean one

Yeah, there's shows that I've watched where they are in the 9.7-9.9 range to me, but there aren't any review sites, at least to my knowledge, that is that granular. They all do the .5 increment style
