I've had Shiroi Haru on my ptw list for so long I had almost forgotten about it. I think I'm going to pick it up like... now.:)
I love j-dramas involving children and this is why I agree Bara No Nai Hanaya is one of the best and one of the most underrated dramas out there. The whole cast is amazing, but the little girl is simply adorable!
Thank you Skye. :D
Don't kill me, but I found your brief bios and commentaries a lot more interesting than any sinopsis. I suppose I'll let myself be surprised by dramas when I stumble upon them.
But five fingers is definitely on my ptw list. I hope the piano will be one of the main character, and not just a passbyer.
Thank you girls, your trio is lovely. :D

Hello my dear,
forgive me for not replying any sooner: I couldn't access MDL! Or, better, I could access the front page but nothing else. It is still giving me som troubles now and then, but it seems at least I can access my profile and reply to messages now. :)
I haven't been watching anything new this past weeks. My man and I are watching Liar game together (for me it's the nth time) and he loves it! And, as you know, I'm showing Secret Garden to my mom and she's enthusiastic.
Other than that, I'm trying to work, lol. My translation is due in 2 weeks and I need to focus.
What's up isn't even on my list yet, I think. If you say it's good, I'm adding it at once. :D Is it about friendship then? I love the topic too: friendship never disappoints. ;)
Thank you everyone. :D
Believe it or not, some time ago I went to the baker and instead of greeting I bowed. I really did it but without realizing it at the time. Everybody looked at me as if my mascara was smeared or I had gone out half naked. I bought, paid and exited the shop thinking their behaviour was really strange, and only realized what had happened when I was half way back home. :P
I think I need a second brain: one can station in front of the screen and the other to be used for daily errands...
By the way: Skye, you owe me a piggyback ride!! Be prepared. ;)

Omni, please forgive me for my late reply and most of all for not replying to you lovely pm yet (I truly appreciated it). I couldn't access MDL after I told you it was so slow. I would enter the front page and no other move was possible. It seems everything's ok now, I have no idea what happened.
As for Rich Man Poor Woman, I totally agree with you. A non-impressive drama with the usual love triangle which we all know the result of. The parallel to Tsuki No Koibito is very apt, I agree 100%. I thought about it too, with the character of Shota plotting in the shadow for reason I never fully understood. I never loved that drama, although the cast was stellar.
I have no idea why everybody is raving about it as if it were the new Hana Yori Dango... :P

Hello Bladey,
please forgive me for my late reply, but I have had access problems: I could enter the front page of MDL but not my profile or the forum. Today it seems everything's back to normal, or so I hope. :)
No interesting discoveries on the drama front. To be honest, I haven't been watching anything new. I am rewatching Liar Game with my husband (who loves it) and Secret Garden with my mother (and she loves this one too); other than that, I have been pretty busy with work: my translation is due in 2 weeks and I need to focus.
I have tried A Gentlemen's Dignity, but... can I be honest with you? The 4 guys seem to me a group of testosterone driven jerks and the female lead gets on my nerves royally with her constant denying and "ottokke???".
Probably I should go on to fully appreciate it, but right now I think I'd better stay away from this kind of dramas. lol
How about you? :)

And because many were mentioning Flower Boy Ramyun Shop in relation to it, as if those 2 dramas were part of a serie, I tried the 1st episode, but there's no comparison. Flower ramyun looks like the typical rom com with the arrogant guy and the clumsy female and bla bla bla.
So, after it I crossed the Korean Strait and went directly to Japan, my usual cure from drama anti-obsession. lol

Omni! First of all, it's good to read you. :D
And it would be just as good to read your review: you know I'm your nr.1 fan! :D
It's funny how we seem to have gone through a very similar phase regarding dramaland: after the heartbeat of K2H and the slow but steady falling in love of I do I do, I was somehow at a loss, one of those recurrent slump where nothing satisfies me. I too landed on Shut Up per chance: the drama had been on my PTW list for a long time, but I too feared it would be some chick flick (btw, I hated You're Beautiful too haha). So, it really was a pleasant surprise to find out it's as far from that silly thing as it possibly can. Somehow, it was a little like watching a japanese show for me. Japanese are usually very goot at portraying friendship.
So I truly loved it.

Ohhh, I forgot to add in my pm: I didn't notice Five Finger is with Joo Ji Hoon. I love him, after watching Antique Bakery and The Naked Kitchen.
One more reason to watch that drama. Thanks for recommending. :D

Cara Nina! <- caro's for the male population, lol.
I am well, a little busy with work but not yet in that final phase when I barely have time to sleep, lol, so I still take the time for swimming trips or motorbike tours around the region.
My drama watching is slow but now steady. I'm not interested in any of the most popular airing dramas like Arang (which I suppose is for you, given Lee Jun Ki ;)), or Faith, so I've crossed the Korean Strait and went to Japan and Taiwan. LOL
How about you? Busy creating as usual? :D

It doesn't surprise me (well, it does, but you know what I mean). ;) It has the same... flavour, and the same kind of random humour which I personally adore.
I'm truly happy you enjoy it. It's very quirky, the plot isn't even important, really, but the characters are wonderful, aren't they? :D

Sorry for replying so late to your very messy message. ;);)
My dishwasher leaked water and when we finally realized it, half of the kitchen was flooded. It was one of the best Sundays in a while. :P
The photos are great, the hotel/manor looks deliciously spooky, I hope you stayed up very late and spoke about ghosts! :D O.O
You are a beautiful white spot on a boat! Do you play... the flute?
Wildly guessing...
By the way: the pics are refreshing too: I see people in jumpers. Today my thermometre read 38 degrees in the shade and they say the temperature's going to rise.

Ha! Violet, you may not believe me, but I was almost going to tell you there's something of Nobuta in it... I just didn't have the courage to do so, knowing your love for it. Partly it's the way the classmates interact, there's friendship and cameraderie, which I love. And then there's the weirdness of it, and the poetry.
I'm not surprised you like it. :)
Good watch! :D
P.S. I'm reading your ep.reviews. Well said! :D:D

I fear you may be referring to the most popular ones like Devil Beside You, Why Why Love and the whole serie with the same actors... in my opinion, these are the worst dramas to get an idea of Tw shows. I am not a fan of Rainie Yang or even of Mike He or Kingone whatever. They overact most of the time and they get on my nerves pretty fast with their over the top antics.
If you wish to try some other Tw drama - and if you like the actors in them - I would suggest Down With Love (Ella Chen may deter you in the beginning, but she truly grew on me a lot), Autumn Concerto (very much a classic and very romantic) and MARS, which is one of the best dramas I've watched, although very dramatic as it touches delicate issues and does so with an almost crude style.

When you watch it, let me know what you think, please! As I wrote in my review, you need an open mind, that's why I thought of you almost from episode 1. :D
Great minds... ;)
Ok, I'll tell that wind to blow towards Armenia. I'd rather enjoy the summer a little longer: I wait for it the whole year, a little heat won't dampen my joy! ;)
