I agree. It irks me too, but I always feel I'm too rash, or I'm a bit of a fastidious person. Although I too liked things that are not awesome (I like silliness too, now and then), I can't give a 10 to a show which is barely decent, no matter how much I liked it.
So, I hope you keep on being brave! :D Let's see if we are alone in this or if more will join the club. ;)
I see you're watching King 2 Hearts too. Now, that is another universe entirely. If the last 2 episodes don't fail completely - which I doubt - I'll give it a full 10.

Oh, by the way: I'm Italian. Quindi se vuoi mettere in pratica il tuo A1, non esitare a scrivermi! :D

LOL at your review of Rooftop Prince. I too dropped it because I found it stupid, but because so many rave about it I never really had the courage to express my opinion freely (also, having dropped it, I can't really speak of the drama as a whole.) Be ready for quite a bit of thumbs down. From me on the other hand: well done. :D

Oh dear... apart from the beautifully terrible scene with the king and queen, you also just watched Jae Ha on the bridge. That was the moment I decided this actor is doing an amazing job, and while I had a crush on the character before, I fell head on for him at that moment.
Instead of restraining yourself now, why don't you marathon and then watch the last 2 episodes together with us all unlucky fellows who have been waiting each week? :D
I mean, if you have to wait, than WHAT you wait for shouldn't make such a difference, no?

Oh, I know the feeling... is it any consolation to you? ;)
I am rewatching the whole show with my mom (yay), and she comes over every sunday, so we had a session tonight with episodes 5&6. She's becoming just as obsessed as I am (well, perhaps not to my insane point, but enough to make me envision heartbreak for her too).
And she loves LSG too, hahahahahahahaha

P.S. : Please don't go read any episode review and stay well away from the discussion thread of K2H, at least until you're well into the drama. There are too many spoilers there, and believe me, you don't want this plot to be spoiled. ;)

The bond between the brothers is one of the most heart-warming, sweet and adorable ever, I agree. Wait till you "meet" the sister: she's a blast too.
It seems we share the crush for LSG too... let me tell you: we are doomed. :S
ahhhhhhhhh

Oh, I'm so happy you love it! I feel like someone who's taking drugs and since I can't do without it anymore, want to share the addiction to feel a little less... guilty. ;)
This drama is seriously superb, and all the family bonds are just amazing. Be prepared for some major heartbreak though: this story won't spare you. It will make you fall in love, despair, rejoice, sit on the edge of your seat. Whatever feeling, it will be intense.
Somehow I knew you would love it, and I have no doubt you are going to be as obsessed by it as I am (you're almost there, I see ;)). I too literally devoured the first 4 episodes, only to have to wait for the airing ones: patience truly isn't my forte. :P But the last 2 episodes are quickly approaching, by next Saturday you'll have the complete set with subs.

my pleasure :D It's actually the fault of the first subs, they kept on writing bong bong. ;)

Her nick's not Bong Bong, but Bon-bon, which means "candy" in french. That's because she's always eating chocolate candies. :)

LOL, this is the only word I will NEVER use. As you know, I'm from Austrian mother and in german we call our grandfather "Opa", stressing the p. So, for me calling a man "oppa" equals seeing the face of my grandfather - a beloved one, but quite disturbing when confronted with a young man to whom I should have a romantic interest. LOL
And let me say, the greek usage is a bit disturbing too, likewise. Hahaha

Deep stuff does not bother me, on the contrary, I love it, so you can go on, and on. ;)
K2H has become my favourite drama. I'm 2 episode from the ending, and I wish I were watching the 11th like you. You're in for some truly amazing, exhilarating, brilliantly acted episodes to come, but prepare some tissues too: I've never been a teary person, but this drama is touching deep chords in me and it moves me beyond logic.
I'm glad you love it too. :)

Oh yes I did.
I'm not new to these kind of things. Once I started speaking German with my mother in law, who's French and only speaks French. I went on and on, she had to stop me and clearly tell me that she didn't understand a word of what I was saying. LOL
And that naughty husband of mine didn't move a finger to interrupt me, he just giggled all the while. Men... ;)

It's good you haven't forgotten your roots, but it's also good you feel at home where you live. It's hard, at times, to find a true balance between the heritage we were born with and the culture we are exposed to while growing up. I was born in north Italy from a southern Italian father and an Austrian mother, so my identity has always been a blend of the two, which sometimes makes me feel I'm from nowhere. My personal compromise is to think of myself as a snail, who takes her home wherever she goes and feels like resting. ;)

Yes, Italy's a beautiful country. Florence is enchanting, with all that history literally oozing from every wall. I hope your friend had a great time there and met some nice Italians. ;)

Ok, I'll make you laugh then. I went into town on foot with my i-pod, listening to you surely know what. So I entered this shop, took out the earphones and greeted the lady with a clear: Anyohaseyo!, followed by a bow!!!
The best part is that she looked at me as if I had suddenly grown two heads, but I didn't understand why and thought SHE was behaving very strangely.
I realized what happened only after getting out of the shop and having walked almost a kilometre. LOL

First of all, forgive me for disappearing this morning: it was 5 in the morning here and I truly had to go to sleep, lol.
Why the Russian fairy-tales... It's actually one of those mental connection one does without a very clear reason. Misha (with M) is a recurrent name in traditional Russian stories, and when I was a kid I used to think it was all so wonderfully exotic, the names, the places, the enchantment.
I think your profile picture helped conjuring up this image, in between memory and dream.
While I think Nurjahan sounds beautiful too (and so is its meaning), I'll keep on calling you Nisha if you don't mind. :) It will be easier for me to remember.
Where are you from, by the way? :)

I got my new translation just the other day, so on a mere rational level I have plenty to do and distract me with, but I can't seem to be able to focus on anything.
On the other hand, when the end of something loved approaches, I try to enjoy the wait too, because I know that when it's over, I'll feel completely empty. :(
