I don't remember finishing this drama. I think I went past the middle mark and was too busy on other things that I forgot to watch it up to the ending. I'm not sure if I liked it back then cuz it was years ago, but I seem to have enjoyed it a little bit. I remember tearing up in some scenes which is rare cuz I've never cried watching a drama. I guess that's an achievement lol
KBS has been quite good this year with shows like Radio Romance,AYHT, Miracle we met and Your House Helper (ongoing)
I had problems with Radio Romance, Your House Keeper, and although I loved AYHT, I have to admit that the writing sucked at some parts. Tbh I don't have a good impression towards the quality of KBS dramas, not sure if it's because they're government-sponsored and less competitive. I hope this one changes my pov.
I liked My Only Love Song (which technically wasn't produced by Netflix but was aired on Netflix). I hope this one is at least as good. Won't expect it to be amazing though, maybe just a cute filler drama.
I usually don't like dramas with minimal plot, but this one totally got me hooked. I never had to fast forward through episodes because every scene was interesting despite not much going on. The characters are all memorable and I'm dying to see the leads be together!
I'm loving this drama!! However, the product placement is so poorly done and distracting. They literally pause the screen for a few seconds solely on the product, to make sure that we know it's a product placement lol
Well I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If they genuinely think he has poor acting skills they…
When I look at Im Soo Hyang, It's just like I'm looking at the actress and not the character. I'm painfully aware that her facial expressions are Im Soo Hyang pretending to be awkward and self-conscious rather than seeing Kang Mi Rae as an actual person.
all of the characters here act way too immaturely... Jennifer is the only mature and logical person, but that's…
A lot of people date in their 16s. It's also the legal age for *cough* yep. And it's just a mental age gap not a physical one so at least it's not a big taboo in society. Hopefully they all mature by the end of the series?
To everyone who is saying cha eun woo cant act.. You people look like a bunch of jealoused ass...let him just…
Well I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If they genuinely think he has poor acting skills they surely can express it as long as it's not insulting. I personally dislike Im Soo Hyang's acting here. Considering that it's Cha Eun Woo's first time acting as a male lead I'll go easy on him and he's not bad. But for Im Soo Hyang, she's been acting for a long time so i was kinda expecting a better performance.
it says 30 but 17 BUT she acts like a spoiled but cute 5 years old in first 5 episodes.... will this thing get…
Hmm... I find her to be a mentally strong 17 year old. She's been through so much but she's still so optimistic and enthusiastic about life. This is what even a lot of adults can't do. She's straightforward, sincere and she sees through people very well. She might seem immature because of her bounciness, but I find her to be quite mature, just not the serious type.
At first I thought that the ML''s personality changed too suddenly, and that he opened up too quickly, but after further thought I felt that it probably made sense since his original personality was very warm, cheerful and friendly before the trauma. He wasn't a cold, distant and reserved person at all and he just tried to pretend to be that way so that he won't hurt others again. It only took a bubbly, optimistic and sincere person like Seo Ri to open up his heart because Seo Ri's characteristics were what he wish he had. People say opposites attract because you can complement one another. The drama presented this really well.
If you're looking for an exciting plot, my recommendation would be to look elsewhere. This is clearly a character-driven…
I actually agree with both of your viewpoints. It really depends on the level of expectation the viewer has when they watch the drama. If you approach this drama thinking it's just an ordinary rom-com it sure will surprise you because it touches on some pretty realistic social issues. But if you go into it expecting the characters to be very well-written along with stellar acting skills then this drama isn't particularly outstanding in this regard. Would say it's an ok drama, not extremely good but not bad. I can see why some would love it, and why some would be a bit disappointed.
