After your article I bought the book saga u mentioned and i'm already curious how is it, since I absolutely LOVE…
I'm sure you'll love it! Shiver does give similar vibes to Twilight and one thing I really liked about it was that it alternates between the FL and ML's pov. The temperature indication at the beginning of each chapter also makes the premise more intriguing.

How do you know that "majority of men are not actually like that "? in fact in Korea there's highest rate of divorce…
I'm from Hong Kong and men here talk mostly about women's appearance and body. Some worse men even make sexual remarks to their classmates or colleagues behind their backs. I guess sexism really is more serious in some parts of Asia.

I hope something significant happens in the coming week's episodes to make up for the delay. If the plot continues to drag it may get boring.

omg you consider incest a taboo? ew this is so disgusting tbh
That's why I'm not sure if this Korean adaptation will folloe the original or not. There are lots of dark and twisted things that happen in the Japanese version that might not be widely accepted by the Korean audience. They might have to tone it down to make it more acceptable.

I don't know if you meant incest is disgusting or I am disgusting for considering it as a taboo. I hold nothing against incest actually, I was referring to how Koreans would react to the subject matter. I don't personally consider sibling incest to be a bad thing, but I'm pretty sure Korean society does because they are very reserved and traditional, more than Japan at least.

Oh.. that's too bad.. I think I need to watch the Japanese version after I watched this one.
Definitely check it out. Imo the story is best served raw and "uncensored" which is what makes the Japanese version stand out. If they ever tone it down in the Korean version it won't live up to the original.

The pace is slow AND it's being delayed. I'm starting to get impatient waiting for the story to progress. Why do sports events keep messing up my favorite shows?

The original J-Drama was so dark, mature and twisted that 90% of the plot won't be widely accepted by Korean public. I'm pretty sure they have to cut out and rewrite a lot of the parts and tone down the whole thing. Otherwise it's gonna be rated 18+ in Korean standards.

That's actually a spoiler.
Oops... sorry about that. I've seen open articles mentioning about it as a synopsis for the drama so I thought it was something everyone knew about. And the original J-drama on MDL has the tag on it as well.

I'm surprised they chose to adapt a J-Drama that has incest in it. Not that I have a problem with that, but I'm not sure if the Korean public would be able to cope with such a big taboo. And the stills of this drama make it look like some sort of lighthearted romcom when it's clearly some dark shit lol

nvm: found whyhttp://kpoplove.koreadaily.com/yoo-byung-jae-apologizes-for-complimenting-tvns-drama-my-mister/I…
For the people who criticized the show for the abusive content, don't they realize that's the reality for some women? The thing about this show is that it's 100% real, it never glosses over anything or provides any form of escapism, that's what's good about this drama. People are just butthurt because they can't accept reality. Turning blind to something doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

In Chinese movie Painted Skin (2008), the fox demon feeds on hearts to maintain her youthful appearance. She falls in love with a man and seduces him in his dreams, and uses her powers to turn the man's wife into a fox-like being to make the villagers kill her. It's a story based on a famous folklore written by a fantasy writer in ancient China called Po Chong Ling. In Chinese folkore, fox demons are known to be seductive, which is why there's a modern saying that female third wheels in relationships are "fox demons".

That other violonist is really annoying, she didn't forget something that happened 13 years ago and she's kind…
She doesn't have confidence in herself. She thinks she'll be replaced again by Seo Ri. In fact there's really no need to compare since she's already famous and there can be mant famous violinists at the same time
