Title Devilish Joy
The first episode was ridiculous and I loved every minute of it!! Female lead is stupid - and I'm talking stupid…
Haha. This is one of the shows where my mind keeps telling me it's ridiculous but my heart keeps enjoying it lol

I liked this drama because of the huge amount of skinship and kisses, but that's all I liked about it. It was cute, light-hearted, but the plot was loose and resolved in a half-assed way. Many of the scene changes were choppy and all over the place and it was really hard to follow cuz you wouldn't know what happened that led to certain scenes. It just jumps around. Plus many of the secrets that made the plot intriguing were never explained at the end. Objectively this is a pretty bad drama and I would have given it less than a 5 but the main couple was so adorable I eventually gave it a 7 due to my personal bias towards fluffy romances.

I don't understand why the fighting was all blurry but usually I don't much attention. :D
They probably wanted to hide how unrealistic it looked so they made the scene almost indecipherable lol D:

The first episode was so ridiculous it was almost like a parody of Kdramas. I almost thought my laptop was lagging during that mind boggling fighting scene. Still gonna watch though cuz the romance seems interesting.

Cinderella and Four Knights had a very similar filter from what I remember.
I mean the vibe of the show and how they filmed it is different. There were many Chinese sponsors and that kind of leads me into thinking some Chinese companies invested in this project. Nowadays more and more Chinese people are investing in Kdramas and I am a bit worried whether they will interfere with the production and direction of the story.

So 10 minutes into the show I kind of realized this was produced by Chinese producers? Judging by the way they used filters, the camera work and the setting and product placements? I'm not sure if it'll be a good K-drama cuz I don't have a good impression towards Chinese drama storylines in general. I hope they had recruited Korean writers.

Question for those that have seen the first episodes... is this actually like One Week Friends? Loved the anime…
This is more like 50 First Dates where the lead has to fall in love over and over again every single day

That was my problem with this drama: Lack of an overarching plot. There wasn't much of an overall direction and…
I have a similar drama watching taste with you. I dropped What's Wrong With Secretary Lim recently for the exact same reason. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon has enough plot to keep me going though, and I enjoyed the series but skipped most of the parts about the crime

Title Still 17 Spoiler
She was 17. Have you never watched a school drama where high schoolers, or even middle schoolers, kiss? Have you…
Well it was her first time, plus she's usually shy and awkward. It's her personality. We're not talking about those experienced middle schoolers, or those who are very outgoing and brave. To be shy in other cases and not be shy when it's her first kiss, that would be weird and inconsistent.

Title Still 17 Spoiler
She suddenly didn't behave like an adult ...it took 12 episodes for her growth. The seo ri now is much more adult…
I agree with the confession and kissing part. She acted nothing like herself in those parts. She should have been super flustered and embarrassed. Instead, she accepted the confession so naturally and even leaned in for a kiss.

I really love this drama, but they could have made this into a 16 episode drama by speeding up the pace. It doesn't mean it's not a good drama, it just doesn't seem like they have enough content to keep people engaged for 20 whole episodes. I can also foresee A LOT happening in the second half of the story, probably an explosion of angst and conflicts, which may cause the pace to be uneven given that they are slow at the beginning and fast towards the end.

Not in a rank but I find these actresses are so pretty even if most are oldSong Hye Kyo Lee Young-aeJun Ji-hyunHan…
I totally agree with you. Past generation actresses were so beautiful, it's just that many younger people aren't familiar with them or haven't seen them in their prime years of beauty.

I'm quite surprised by how different my beauty preference is with yours, cuz among your list I only find Suzy,…
My top 9 picks are the ones who probably appeared the most in Korea beauty polls within the past 2 decades. I am aware that these several years the choices of citizens have changed drastically because the younger generation is starting to not know the above actresses that well. Current hot picks are Song Ji Hyo, Kim So Hyun, Lee Sung Kyung and kpop idol-turned actresses like Suzy, Krystal, Yoona, etc.

I'm quite surprised by how different my beauty preference is with yours, cuz among your list I only find Suzy, Song Hye Kyo, Han Ye Seul and Kim Ji Won to be attractive. I don't know if it's because I'm Asian, but my preference is more similar to local Koreans:

1. Kim Tae Hee - nation's goddess who ranks no.1 in most surveys
2. Son Ye Jin - during her The Classic and Summer Scent eras
3. Kim Hee Sun - she was gorgeous in Jackie Chan's movie The Myth
4. Song Hye Kyo - natural and timeless, her face never changed
5. Shim Eun Ha - she's not from this generation, but she has been well-known for her beauty
6. Lee Young Ae - the gene jackpot, given her age and how pretty her daughter looks
7. Han Ga In - her cosmetics CF stills are stunning
8. Han Ye Seul - loved her in BOAB
9. Jun Ji Hyun - I don't particularly like her aura but she's definitely the sexy queen
10. Suzy/Oh Yeon Seo/Han Hyo Joo... And many others that I can't think of at the moment

Tbh I was pretty annoyed at what Woojin did in this episode. Regardless of what his justification was, he was immature and impulsive. If I were Seori I'd be angry as well. It should be her decision whether or not she goes along with the director, but he just goes and ruins everything by lashing out at the director. Like, what if she is still willing to perform? What if the director doesn't give them a second chance? If he likes her, he should sit down and try to understand her.

Great picks! I could definitely see those translating great. My suggestions might take some updating but here…
Fushigi Yuugi is definitely the first anime I would recommend if I were to write an anime version of this article. Loved that show back in grade school!

Nice article and casting choices! I remember reading the Wolves of Mercy Falls many years ago and had the same…
Divergent would definitely do well as a K-Drama! It feels like something OCN would do, since they're really good at making sci-fi series.
