Someone here said next week super vip members will have more episodes than everyone(I think like 6). How do we…
I'm asking the same question here!!! I saw the calendar and it seems the VVIP will finish watching the drama on March the 5th. Anybody knows when/where will those episodes be released...?
Yeah exactly! I myself prefer Fengjiu from Bai qian because of many reasons. Even though my personality is kinda…
I love your point. I have never considered it that way, but I think you are right. FJ is sillier and a lot less mature that BQ, which makes sense, since FJ is a teenager when BQ is in her mid thirties... but when it comes to it, FJ shows a greater inner strength than BQ. FJ shows that she is able AND willing to go on with her life without DH. She is strong enough to decide she will have her child and raise it by herself, even when the Phoenix gave her some herbs to abort. And she raises him wonderfully. On the other hand, BQ kills herself as SUSU... which maybe doesn't count, since it's not really her, but then she chooses to forget HER SON. And again, after YH seemingly dies, she abandons little Ali and spends her days dreaming of YH. FJ is a better mom than her. I love both characters. I think they are both flawed, realistic and wonderful, each with their own personality, their own strengths and weaknesses. I don't know why people pit them against each other.
I just read the book again. It had been a year since i read it for the last time. Does anybody else know if they are going to expand the ending? Just to give FG, DH and their son some more time together... I really love the sweets moments between FG and DH, but I wish the happy ending would have been a bit longer...
I'm starting to get bored with the mortal realm, i'm still on episode 18, which ep do they come home to?I really…
Watch 21. It's beautiful and heartbreaking, plus you won't understand what's going on later if you don't watch it. I'd say skip 18 and 19. Watch 20 and 21. But 21 is a must. Then 22 starts the new arch...
What about Wei Ying Luo , The History of Yanxi Palace's female lead? She had more brains in her little finger that the whole Imperial Palace put together. She was also in love with the general, but when destiny broke them apart, she did not waste time mourning what could have been. She went on with her life. At the end, she achieved all her goals, became the most powerful woman in the empire AND attained the Emperor's love.
It looks like in the show, FJ’s conversation with Si Ming caught his attention when he was listening to them…
Yes, that seems to be the case. I loved FJ interaction with SM while DH watched them. It's just that I really liked that bit in the novel. Anyway, it was still super-awesome. I'm reading the book again just to pass the time til next week.
I am the only one disappointed by ep 24? I mean, I loved it. I loved that they are finally catching up to the book. I loved that DH is finally taking noticed of FJ and that FJ had finally matured a little. But i was so looking forward to the moment when FJ kicks the plant and then blames it on Migu... I believe it was her wit and shamelessness what caught DH attention in the first place. I don't understand why they changed that moment.
Stopped at ep20. Just didn't get any better. No where as good as TMOPB.
I am enjoying it a lot. Ep 1-8 was a cute retelling of TMOPB, but when the two dramas began to diverge in ep 9, I think this drama lives up to its predecessor
Started and stopped at ep 1 but it seems like same ole same ole. It's ok but just didn't draw me in at all. ????
if you watched TMOPB, jump straight to ep 9, when DH goes to the MR to experience his trials and FJ follows him. Ep 1-8 is a retelling of FJ working as a maid in the palace...
So after watching the trailer of ep22 I'm assuming that they havent done bai qian and ye huas wedding yet... but…
They did the same for TMOPB. The novel starts after BQ jumps to kill herself from the celestial garden. Everything else is shown in flash backs through the novel. But the drama began much earlier, when BQ joined MQ, and then it comes the mortal realm and human BQ as a mortal in the Heavens. Here it's the same. The novel starts at the wedding, and you get flashbacks of what happened before. But for the adaptation, they chose to do it in chronological order... so they began years before the novel started.
I do not know what is meant by the age gap .. Dilraba and Vengo Gao only differ in age 8 years ... I think Age…
I find your comments pretty insulting. My aunt is 11 years older than my uncle. She looks quite young for her age and he looks older than he is. They have been married since she was 38 and he was 27. Before they got together, they had been friends for six years. She is now 46 and they are still very much in love. Nothing wrong with that!
They’re supposed to take place in the same world. Eternal Love is mainly focused on Bai Qian and Ye Hua. FengJiu…
At the moment, this is a prequel to TMOPB. The first few episodes of this drama retell the story that was told at the beginning of TMOPB; then the two dramas will drift apart, since everything that happen from the moment FJ and DH go to the human realm isn't canon; (i am talking about FJ and DH, BQ and YH story is canon).
This is so because the producers of TMOPB didn't have the rights to the Pillow Book novel, so they borrowed the characters and gave them a different plot.
FJ is acting a bit silly because she is only 14 or 15 at the moment. She is spoiled and childish, but she will grow up. She couldn't transform because she gave up her powers for three years to a demon, in return the demon lent her a fire power to save DH when he was trapped in the lotus flower.
DH doesn't know that she likes him. He doesn't know who she is and hasn't really noticed her yet. The first time DH notices her for real is thousands of years later, when she is already queen and a lot more grown up. He will fall head over heels for her when that happens...
