Do I need to watch TMOPB to understand this? Because I really want to watch this. I like both the leads and the…
Not at all. In fact, I think you will enjoy this drama more if you haven't watched TMPB. The two dramas are completely independent, but the plot at the beginning of the this series (and only at the beginning) is very similar to the one we see in TMPB... so it can be a bit repetitive.

When I first started tmopb the first couple episodes were kinda boring but the story and everything gets better…
I couldn't agree more. I didn't like the first episodes of TMPB at all. I actually stopped watching the drama... but then so many people talked highly about it than I gave it another chance. I began watching again once YH and BQ meet in the mortal realm and I loved it. It was only in my second watch of the drama, that I went back to watch the episodes where BQ is training in the mountain. I liked them this time more because I was already invested in the characters and knew their fates.

PB is just starting. FJ is just a teenager and she and DH haven't properly met yet. Plus, we already saw this story arch at play in TMPB, even if it was a bit different, so I think we have to wait until we see new material before making a judgment.

Personally, I think the scenery and the especial effects are much, much more beautiful and better done than TMPB. I love baby fox FJ!

In celestial years, she is still a teenager. She even goes to school! And she is an only-child and a princess...…
If i am not mistaken, she is very, very young in the flash backs in the novel, maybe 16 or 15. She grows up a little later on; the events from the novel (ep8 and on) happen 2000 years after she goes to live with DH to repay her debt. She is definitely not in her 20s yet

For people who want to continue watching this drama but think Feng Jiu is too immature (She is a bit annoying…
In celestial years, she is still a teenager. She even goes to school! And she is an only-child and a princess... who can blame her for being a bit spoiled and immature. I am sure she will grow in time
