no, in episode 2, it's already said by kotaro that haruhi's mother fell down the stairs and episode 3 showed that touma isn't just some mistaken person. also, it probably just that haruhi doesn't just remember anything but he's the one who stabbed touma after all.

if you have already watched the third episode, you can already conclude what happened to haruhi's mother already. as for toma's mother, it might also be possible that haruhi was involved in it because the episode 4 preview shows him in agony.
