Yeah, a guilty drama quitter here as well but I've never had any issues with the length of the episodes - sometimes I like the long ones because I can enjoy those for a while longer but this is merely because I binge watch a lot off stuff so it's bound to finish quick for me anyhow. However, my quitting point is when I can't marathon a drama until the end while I'm all involved in the plot, if I take a break then I'm bound to loose interest and I don't like picking up old stuff not remembering all the stakes. Besides, I feel that a lot of dramas loose their spike by the 12th or 14th episode, either the plot gets draggy or the script gets totally of track, so I have quite a few ones that I'm sooo close yet far away of completing. When I started watching dramas I was really thorough with finishing them but now time-management has become a thing.

What is this gem of a drama?! I was really hesitant to watch it since it seemed like a standard cop drama but this was on a totally different level. Love it, love the cast and love the sherlock-esque soundtrack (but the ballad/pop-songs for the "romantic" bits could've been avoided). However, the last 4 episodes felt a bit draggy & unreal, too many dinners & lunches with your neighborhood friendly serial killers - loled hard at the pokerfaces though.

Yeah, I noticed that I have started dropping a lot of dramas by the 4-2 last episodes, even the ones I really like. Seems like all dramas are alike in that aspect - it's like the writes just give up after not being able to untangle the mess they created.

Please tell which drama (as a spoiler), wracking my brains here but I've seen too many to keep all somewhat similar dramas apart and remembering each subplot and stuff.

On ep. 2 and just can't stand Bo Ra, how is it possible that the parents tolerate that type of behavior? That is a certain type of abuse in itself. Where I was raised, she would been punished/disciplined for lashing out like that - especially if she yells at the elders and in the 80's. I hope that her character will get better/evolve through the drama, otherwise it's going to be one of those annoying side characters that I'm just gonna fast forward each time she shows up.

Any one knows how the prices are ranked, is just by the birthdate or is there some other hierarchy - e.g. the queen's sons come first and then the concubines' sons or something? I got confused since some of the guys look older than the others but have a later ranking/numbering.

I was thinking that as well, but then it was much harder to survive at that period in time so everyone probably had to be a bit psycho to deal with with all scheming or be eaten alive - but yes, he is kinda mentally unstable.

I'm kinda starting too think all of this as well, this drama blew my mind with the first episodes but now it's starting to be all over the place and I'm getting frustrated since I need logical/legit back-drops to any fantasy setting. As a viewer I need to know the rules of the universe and need the drama to actually stick to them, but those rules keep changing bit by bit to fit the plot twist each time - but I guess that no one really knows the rules since it hasn't even been revealed why the manga characters were able to come to life/step into the real world at all - so we're left to figure this is out together with the drama leads or something...

Hahaha omg, I actually don't mind the actress in this drama but I haven't been able to watch/continue other new dramas because of the fetus problem … especially mirror of the witch.

I love their facial expressions and that hilarious silent communication, it brings so much life to the drama!!

This show is so silly, I don't like how it ignores every other single problem other than being stubborn and childish to everyone you know just for the heck of it. The characters are just so flat and inflexible… but this drama does have a bit of an older vibe to it like you're beautiful (I loved it when it aired but today just the thought of it makes me cringe), goong or even coffee prince in some instances. And what's with the blurry filter on everything??

I don't get why Gi Tak had to be erased, feels like everything he tried to change/do by coming back was rendered kinda useless. I know about the rules set forth in the drama but it's rather confusing that the writes would choose this kind of end for him, because basically no Gi Tak = no evil dude Suk Chul and thus no issues steaming from their rivalry in this part of the storyline - but who knows maybe Yi Yeah was never saved from that gang in her teenage years and other problem arose instead…. that is if we are talking about his existence being erased and not just the memories. Oh well.

I hated on Rain's shoes through out the whole drama, those loafers were just hideous (paired with socks and short pant legs), ugh.
