Title Dare You to Death Spoiler
I definetly like the book ending a lot better, it showed the effects all that happened left especially on Jay. First of all, in the book he was not an accesory to the sexual assault of pufai as is insinuated here, he finds out after it happens but doesn't do anything about it and stays friends with them..His biggest sin apart from sleeping with a drunk pufai was not reporting any of his friends crime and condoning it; but knowing you friend is going to get sexually asaulted by another friend as part of a plan for a third friend to step in and win her over and doing nothing about it makes him an accesory to the crime and it is disgusting not to mention highly immoral so I m not sure why they chose to twist it like that. He's excuse that he was scared and didn't know what to do had me shaking my head and screaming at the tv like dude, your brother is a cop and a semi decent police captain at that. If there was anyone in that group who could have stopped this tragedy, it would be you. He wasn't corrupt and had the resource(his brother) to stop his so called friends but chose to be a bystander to all their crimes and that makes him just as guilty. Also ending jays arc with him smiling as Kamin and Jade leaves his room is definetly a choice. In the book, Jay's ending is a lot more intresting and meaningful. He is so distraught and riddled with guilt about all that happened that he can't sleep at night. He wakes up in the middle of the night screaming from his nightmares that Jade and karmin have to take turns calming him down every night. Jade is worried out of his mind as he should be and Kamin is trying to help as best as he can. Eventually Jay chooses to check himself into a mental hospital for help, which I believe is the wisest and smartest choice he made in the whole book. I wish they showed us this part too instead of the ladidadi, everything is okay now ending they gave him. I was so dissapointed they didn't show that. Just spent the rest of the episode on a vacation I honestly didn't ask for. I was honestly so upset with them choosing to leave that part out that I started skipping through the whole vacation part and by the time it ended, I just felt so bland. Nothing deep, nothing lasting, no lesson, just bland. I know the show wasn't the best but that was the most dissapointing part for me. They removed the little tidbits that could have made this show a little more something and left us with the bland.

Title Ball Boy Tactics Spoiler
There's a lot of backstory missing. Like, we don't know why Ji Won retired from professional gymnastics. Since…
In the Flashback it showed that he retired because he was injured because of a mistake during one of his stunts, Although the coach tried to persuade him to get physiotherapy, he refused because of two things, one he knows himself best and he knew the injury was serious enough he wouldn't be able to perform at his best and secondly.because he didn't like the attention, he is super shy and doesn't like being the center of attention. Also if they go according to the webnovel, then the 2 leads didn't know each other personally or meet before. They were simply two popular athletes who knew about each other from tv and stuff.

I really enjoyed it. But I don't know if it's only me but something feels off with the story telling. It seemed…
If they keep to the webtoon, they don't know each other except from seeing each other on tv interviews, the gymnast was super famous and known for being super shy and withdrawn, so he was basically refrencing what he knows from seeing him on tv and stuff. As in, Although he disappeared from public eye for about two years, he hasn't changed a bit.

Title Justice in the Dark Spoiler
This is my personal opinion from watching all the episodes and reading half the novel. Pei Su is not a zero empath. I actually think he is highly empathetic, his father has just programmed him to believe he is. The fact that he gave away his cat just so his father wouldn't make him hurt it should have been a clear signal that he wasn't. The way he was willing to punish and electrocute himself just so he wouldn't have any urges, and literarily trained himself to despise blood just so he doesn't become what his father said he was, should have been clue number two. The way he is able to get the victims to open up and talk to him by identifying with what they are feeling and their pains, be it the mother in the first case, or the two girls in the case with kids who ran away from school and the guy gets killed. No one else could get the 3 witnesses to open up except him. The way he keeps putting his life in the line again and again to save his Boo Captain Luo. He was even able to connect with the glasses cop with a chip on his shoulder who was having issues connecting with the rest of the team. This does not feel like actions of a person with zero empathy. I feel like he has the genius genes but he also has empathy too, especially growing up with the father he had, The fact he could grow up to be so kind and understanding of people around him is in part due to the two cops he had by his side after his mothers death who showed him what normal was and also due to his self control and empathetic heart. That is why he has a bunch of family members of victims under him trusting, working together and being protected by him. I don't know about anyone else but he seems like a highly empathetic guy who was dealt a bad hand in father area and has been made to believe the worst of himself. But luckily Luo has now figured out that is not who he is and is willing to Love, Trust and Keep him by his side. Also the way he got hurt everytime Luo doubted him, I m glad he doesn't have to feel that way anymore.

@WesternPeace LOL, I don't deny that, When it comes to sad endings, yep I'm a big one. And I will keep hiding in my shell away from endings that are created to wreck me. lol

ok, well I guess I'm dropping this one and not completing it, which sucks cuz I was really enjoying the earlier episodes. And its nothing bad against the drama, I just don't do sad and/or heartbreaking endings and finding out how this will end, nope, not doing this to myself, No matter how good a drama is, I will never put myself through that, my life sucks enough as it is and my heart is too fragile to deal with it.

weird thing, I suspected it was her from the First Only Friends trailer when it came out back then but I dismissed it cuz I was like more people would be talking about it if it was her and I kind of forgot about it till I just saw her name on the cast list right now and I was like, so I was right...

is this just bl actors or actors in general, because if you're talking actors in general, There is also Aaron Yan(Taiwanese), but he has never been in any bls before, so if you're talking just bl actors, then he doesn't qualify.
