I hope that she'll go back to doing some Taiwanese dramas as well, esp something with Ming Dao or Ethan Ruan. Love her pairing with both these men so so much!
I appreciate this part of your review"I love that the show represented characters of different age groups (right…
I just re-read my review because I had forgotten about it HAHA thank you, I am glad you appreciated it :) Beyond all the fun, this show was very progressive and smartly written. And yes, if not a S2 then even a special episode with tons of Sora/Hikaru and Aoi/Gon will do for me. I really want to see these characters again!
A disturbing and powerful character-driven story depicting the ML's psyche and how his sexual addiction came to be, from his desire to be loved and belong, to the perversion that began to take shape in his adolescence given the exposure he had to sex since he was a baby, the parental neglect and disdain he faced from his father and the confusions he had to grapple with over his identity. What a journey told in 1h 50 mins! The director clearly didn't waste a single minute / frame and got to the story the moment the film started.
It's worth watching once for the fantastic performances by the cast, the hard-hitting story and writing, and brilliant direction. But before that, please read the tags and watch out for triggers mainly nudity, sex scenes, rape, and incest.
come in, we havea stalker and the victim who are living together (sally and soseki)an ojisan dating a college…
HAHAHA I adored each and every character and their relationships so so much. Even Ojisan and Sally. I remember watching this and feeling how I wish I was part of their world...
Now I gotta go and re-watch this. Thanks for refreshing the memories.
Re-watched this after years, and even though it's no masterpiece, it is definitely a guilty pleasure. The love and dedication the FL had for the ML was beautifully shown. Their romance in general was beautiful.
Circle of Love?! More like circle of abuse. All the man does is manipulate, torture and force the woman, and the woman clearly has Stockholm syndrome because she falls in love with the man who hurts her time and time again. If you're a fan of the Thai slap/kiss genre, then this is probably not as brutal, and you might even love this short drama. If you wanna watch something with a toxic and abusive relationship, go watch Sawan Biang instead. At least that was a drama of substance which was well-written, brilliantly acted and executed well.
watch Playful kiss, fight for my way, kill me heal me and many suggestions I have
I am Sam. I know that feeling.. lots of times we are harsh on ourselves a little too much. But I keep reminding myself - if my best friend or loved ones were in this situation, I would affirm them and remind them of how amazing they are. So why not do the same for myself? Also, regardless of how we feel about ourselves, we are all human and deserve to be loved. So while seeking love from someone else, remember that you should also love yourself a little too. Unfortunately, it's quite a long journey but it begins with small steps each day, and you'll get closer each day as long as you don't give up :)
Dude is so swoony and fineeeeeeeee <3
I am glad that my list is of help to you. Enjoy!
And yes, I loved Silent. Japan definitely does that genre best.
I hope they do because I really want to watch this.
Time flew by watching this feel-good drama with positive characters :)
Thank you so much for sharing that. I appreciate you :)

I hope you find someone loving too. But most importantly, hope that we can find happiness within ourselves first :)
