I don’t remember which episode had the coronation scene. It might’ve been ep 12. It’s my understanding that the re-released version should be out already on the streaming services in your region. For me, it’s Hulu/Disney+.

The coronation scene had historical inaccuracies and allusions to Chinese coronations which some felt was disrespectful to Korean culture. The coronation has now been removed from a new version of the drama rereleased internationally. No one said that BWS should be banned for anything.

Won Gyu Bin replaces Lee Jung Ha for the role of Kim Bong Seok in Season 2. I will really miss the original actor. His sweet, adorable charm is what made the teens’ love story so endearing. I can’t think of another actor’s being able to capture his same appeal.

He was pushed into an arranged marriage even though he had Jin Zhao in his heart, something he never confessed to anyone.
