"Zhousheng Chen, I've come to marry you. I'll take your silence as a yes." Waahhh, I just finished this tonight and this drama definitely had me in tears a few times. That's ok though. A good cry is cathartic. A really solid, well-acted drama that kept my attention throughout, and introduced me to some great characters. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind not getting the HEA.

Outside of Someday or One Day I haven' t watched a tdrama I' ve really enjoyed in a long time. At least half the actors on this list had their most popular dramas years ago while the others have moved into the Chinese market. Maybe the good Taiwanese dramas aren't getting subbed anymore.

The scene where Zhou Siyue was reading Ding Xian's Diary was so touching. I'm bummed that none of the written notes are translated in this show. I feel like I'm missing important information somehow. Like that notice on the board about, I'm assuming, ZS father.

So it's basically Secret in the Box. That makes more sense.

I wonder why one if the titles is Secrets in the Lattice? I've seen no sign of lattice anywhere in this drama.

I've been sour about SK remaking tdramas since they butchered In Time with You so I'm going with this probably not being a good idea.

Yay! The trailer really sold me on this one so I've been waiting for what feels like forever. Lol now the mystery of whether it'll get subbed or not.

So not a dumb question! I asked the same thing when the trailer first came out. I loved the trailer and thought the music fit it perfectly.

Does anyone know what type of ending the source novel has?

I can't remember how I found it, but I think my first tdrama was ISWaK, which is definitely my fave version still. I haven't watched a lot in recent years, but enjoyed Someday or One Day immensely. It really is so well-done. I think what I like best about tdramas is how relatable and down to earth the characters often seem like people I'd totally hang out with IRL. Oh, and the awesome skinship of course, lol. Some of my faves are In Time With You, Down With Love, Autumn's Concerto (that cute kid! the Vanness Wu hotness!), and the ISWaK duo.

It's kind of funny that the considerably younger ML half of the OTP has done all the work in the two kiss scenes I've seen so far. Given that I like their chemistry otherwise, it's a small gripe. Especially as this drama isn't necessarily about the romance anyway.

Just finished episode 8 and my rarely activated SLS is kicking in! I need some good OTP interaction STAT to get me off this sinking ship.

After finishing 6 I read a lot of the comments and now I have thoughts. This post could get long! There seems to be two camps in regards to how people think Ji Won should have reacted after learning that Baek Hee Sung isn't BHS, but I'm mainly addressing the love should conquer all idea. First, Ji Won just found out that her whole relationship/marriage is based on a lie, and given that lie I wonder if they are even legally married, so that alone is a devastating blow and breach of trust. Then to make it even worse Baek Hee Sung's true identity is that of a wanted murder suspect and possible serial killer/accomplice and there's no way any rational person can just blindly continue on with her previous life. I think she's actually being calm and approaching it reasonably because if I'd been in the same situation I would have taken my child and run for the hills not continued to live with a possible murderer.

What's the name of that jdrama?

I'm also relieved that, so far anyway, the ML is hovering in that gray area, but I also appreciate that it's a very fine line he walks. For instance I was genuinely worried that the ML would actually kill Park Kyung Chun in episode 6 and relieved when he didn't. I think that that uncertainty makes for a better drama and a more interesting character.
