I was fine with the age gap as well. 7 years is not that big when you're both adults. I also liked that she had these secret feelings that she hid for about 6 years or so. We got to see her go from puppy love to something deeper, then heartbreak when she thought he had a girlfriend, acceptances and moving on, then finally reciprocated feelings.

I saw somewhere they reduced the gap to four years which would put her at 16 at the start. That's a little more believable. Unless they aged down Duan Jia Xu instead.

I really liked the book ao keeping my fingers crossed this turns out well. Please tell me Zhao Lusi isn't playing Zhi Zhi at 13. She's young but still that's pushing believable.

This was a cute scene. Was this his first kiss scene? He did well.

Definitely, all that dramatic mess into the last episode and then bang it's all over in the last five minutes.

He was so good, and attractive, in that drama. It also introduced me to Chris Wu who I still like to this day.

My only complaint about AC was the ending which I found a little weak.

I've watched AC at least 3 times, and it still gets me everyime.

I think this ends in China today. The writing has been so good through 8. I'm looking forward to seeing if people think it ends strong.

I thought it was funny he got offended after she sort of insulted both his arguing skills and his lack of strength.

They are not blood related, but they sorta end up as siblings to the outside world in the end. It's weird.

I've watched through 8 and while a romantic interest has been hinted at it's mostly in flashbacks. Does anything happen between the leads in the present? A spoiler by anyone that's finished would be great.
