honestly i was sad when i found out beyond evil bagged both best drama and best actor awards. i was hoping flower of evil would at least win best actor. both actors deserved recognition for portraying such complex and broken characters really well but lee joon gi’s performance just hit different. i felt bad for him throughout the show. and i esp loved his relationship with his daughter :(

yes! totally would recommend watching. personally still prefer flower of evil but beyond evil is also really good. the plot isn’t new but the way they told the story was beautifully done. the leads also did an amazing job portraying their characters.
I think I need to flowchart this drama. Too many names, too many plot points, and too many twists. It might be…
pls add me to the google doc for that flowchart :)) i loooooved flower of evil. it also left me exhausted after every episode but emotionally. this one leaves me mentally drained from trying to keep up with everything. lol.
"What if I die without asking you to end this world?""Then someone else will die instead of you. Someone you love…
i'm actually glad you posted this convo bec the translation for this particular scene in the video i watched felt like it fell a bit short so i'm a little confused about their contract :)) so in exchange for asking him to end the world or something similarly doom-y, she gets to live her last hundred days without experiencing pain? the only part that was clear to me was that if she breached their contract, the one she loves the most at that moment (which i also think could end up being Myeolmang) will die.
so far i really love the episodic formula of this show. the cases they take on are pretty good. hope they are able to keep the balance between telling those side stories as they unfold the main story arc.
I think one of the main reasons why many people can't connect with Kang Ha Na is because she's the only one who…
i'd love for her to have a back story so that i would be less annoyed with her "meddling" with the taxi business even though she's just doing her job. i realise how i feel towards her character is similar to how do ki's feels at this point—she's basically a nuisance. i wonder how this cat and mouse game will play out for do ki and ha na though. a satisfying ending for one seems like a sour one for the other.
hong ji ah's face the whole time she was playing along with in beom's tricks :)) this show has me laughing one minute and then shaking the next bec the cgi is scary good.
halmeoni has far better vision than i do because i just couldn't find bong yi's button in that photo no matter how many times i looked! i did manage to notice the blood on ba reum's forehead appear out of nowhere and then disappear though.
i don't know if it's just poor editing or maybe they keep adding and changing certain details at the last minute, but i feel the episodes are becoming messier and messier :(
i watched the first episode with low expectations after reading comments that it was just okay since it basically just set up the story. well, i really enjoyed it and found the second episode fun too! i looove how her encounter with this particular ghost scares me and makes me laugh at the same time :))
