Why they have to make a character evil in all good drama=_=I cringe when she calls grandpa as "oppa".
came here to rant about the same thing and scrolled through wondering if anyone else felt the same. honestly this show has plenty of plot even without the conniving ceo's sister. her storyline is truly cringey.
to be fair i dont like that joo won will get all the credit for catching the killer either... hes been a nuisance…
omg saaaaame. up until now, i have just been annoyed at him for being so narrow-minded and self-righteous. i know he wants justice too, but he can also be so self-serving. i hope he really grows from hereon out. i think he and dong shik would actually make good (and crazy) partners.
Could they possibility exchange the kids? Like after birth? Like is a crazy theory but it popped in my head. With…
omg came here to speculate about a birth secret too. lol. but then i realised they wouldn't have given birth at the same time. then again, nothing is impossible in a kdrama. and kids don't only get switched out at birth :)) idk i still think it's too early to reach a definitive conclusion about either jbr and syh. i notice they deliberately keep showing us signs about how the former is so kind and the latter is more likely to be the killer but i am still not 100% convinced. like, syh could have all those photos of the victims because the real killer sent them to him either to taunt him or blackmail him for being the (known) son of the headhunter. and it wouldn't be the first time a psychopath pretended to be nice! anyway, at least one thing's for sure, this show has piqued my curiosity.
Are you talking about Ji Hun? He tipped the reporter not the police.
ohhh okay. i was confused about his reasoning. in ep 5, it seemed like he was throwing dong shik under the bus. then the convo in ep 6 didn’t really 100% clear things up for me. thanks for this!
i'm so confused. can someone explain the confrontation about tipping off the **reporters? idk if the original dialogue was just lost in translation but i didn't get why the tipper did what he did.
i'm waiting until an episode where i don't find any of the leads or their behaviour annoying. lol. it's still generally somewhat entertaining so i'm hanging in there.
this was the most stressful drama i've ever had to watch! it literally took me several weekends to finish it because the suspense was too much for me but also too good to be dropped :)) i have to say though, while the thriller bits did have me on the edge of my seat, the heaviest episode for me was the finale. like, damn. overall, this show is a masterpiece and def worth the stress!
i definitely have qualms about so yong and bong hwan's ending but not to the extent that it makes me hate the finale altogether. this is still, by far, my favourite historical drama. well, it's the only one i've watched (and thoroughly enjoyed) from beginning to end anyway because i dropped all other historical dramas from too much stress. lol. the actors were amaaaaaaazing—especially our queen and king. i am literally grieving that this is over. so far, my best watch in 2021. idk how i'll move on now :(
i'm only about 20 minutes into the finale (*saaaad*) but i just had to come on here and say how much i love Yook Ji Woo's character. she is, by far, my favourite chaebol drama mum. she is such a strong woman, far from being what most people would say is a "good mother," but admirable in her own way. god, i am going to miss this drama and its characters.
had to take a break just a few minutes into episode 12 bec that confrontation in the forest was sooooo frustrating. it’s funny how everyone keeps misunderstanding the queen but also really infuriating when it gets so twisted. honestly if it weren’t for the comedic bits, i don’t think i would have enjoyed this show and lasted this long :)) my stress levels just can’t handle the politics in historical dramas. lol.
