The insurance scam and fire have been linked back to the Hwangs... the fire itself was an accident (I seriously doubt a 4 year old would knowingly commit arson, thats out there even by makjang standards) but much to the surprise of nobody Sookja is the root of all evil... what she did after the fire was the REAL problem... which is why I'm happy to see that Osung is weaponizing Sookja's crush on him. I'm curious to see what's the deal with this land - I forsee Sookja getting scammed like Gichan scammed Jayoung early on....
The speech that Jaein gave Seri was nice "instead of trying to steal my life you should've cultivated your own" -I found it deeply ironic that Seri has to resort to blackmail to stay in the house now. Jaein, in the beginning, never had to resort to cheap tricks because well, she was likeable. Seri can do no wrong ... she's always the victim... Seri's life is shit because of her attitude and I hope she doesn't change or get redeemed. Idk how this is going to end for her but I'm expecting an Oh Hara (Miss Montecristo) level crash out tbh....
