Omg the Dramafever shut down was DEVASTATING... It was before kdramas became as popular as they are now. They shut that shit down with no warning and iirc people who paid for premium accounts had no way to get a refund.

There were so many older dailies on there... Glass Mask, Ice Adonis, Pink Lipstick were the ones I remember watchingn on there ...

I had deactivated my Twitter account a long time ago but I would always respond with "more 일일 드라마" whenever the KOCOWA account would ask what kind of dramas you wanted to see next 😭 asiaflix and it's nsfw popups (that somehow get past my ad blocker??) make browsing that site feel like you are looking for hay in a needle stack... 😭

Finding old dailies to watch (from legit sources) is a total crapshoot. Amazon prime video has Ice Adonis (!!!) but that's the only daily they have. KOCOWA is probably our best bet... The last daily they uploaded was the iconic Princess Aurora. So SOMEONE who works for them has an interest in older dailies

Yes! I dropped the third marriage around ep 70 back when it was airing and I'm currently watching the Second Husband rn! I've also seen her 2010 drama Pink Lipstick which is similar, lol

Had a feeling this was going to be extended because of the snails pace of everything despite it being (what we thought) was the "final hour" - aka what should be the most interesting part of the daily.

I guess they did it because of the number of people watching on KOCOWA and similar services. (Which doesn't mean anything, The Woman Who Swallowed the Sun was #1 on KOCOWA when it aired and that's widely regarded to be the worst MBC daily of all time 💀) Meanwhile for cable ratings for this drama can't get into the 6% range... highest rating is 5.9%. Now the drama is slated to end on 7/3/26. For those in the US I will absolutely be shooting fireworks on the 4th to celebrate my independence from this hot mess of a drama 🤣

But I came here because... the follow up drama has been announced... It's called 가족관계증명서 which translates to "Family Relation Certificate" (???) it's due to start on 7/6/2026. FL is played by Han Goeun and Park Seyoung was casted in it 2 days ago.. she will be playing Han Goeun's daughter. It'll be written by Park Jihyun who also wrote "Person Who Gives Happiness". There's no details about the premise yet.... but if I had to guess family drama will be a big part of the story lol

Yes! When the drama was first announced she was described as being "ambitious" and working her way up with the intention of getting Dream. it was kinda hinted at the beginning (when she was Seorin's personal assistant) but after her and Sanwol moved into the house she moreso became a gag character lol

Truth is stranger than fiction 😭 remember Sukhee was smart enough to pass the bar exam on the first try yet too dumb to ask Dongseok about his relationship with Hwayoung and running off based on a random tabloid 😭 i feel like hwayoung is gonna put a hit out on her, Sukhee gets hit in the head and then she wakes up and is back to being judge Judy

That first slap was everything.... I think I watched it 3 times LOL

Provided Seorin keeps her original personality (meaning no amnesia) I'm expecting an interesting conflict to arise from this

Youngja is the MVP of this episode!!! She said "these hands are rated E for everyone!" Her slapping the shit out of Hwayoung added 10 years to my life! By far the most enjoyable part of these last few episodes 🤣🤣 she's about to unleash hell on Hwayoung... Jangmi WISHES!

Getting a wisdom tooth extracted is a more enjoyable experience than watching Junho and Jangmi's "relationship" play out but it's nowhere as annoying as watching Nambong ignore reality and chase Hwayoung lmaooo I hope this bites him in the ass big time. Hwayoung is trying to do her best to do damage control while Nambong is talking himself into a hole. Good luck trying to outsmart a divorce lawyer 😭 Nambong better have a horrible ending he's earned it.

It's very telling that Baekho cared more about Youngja's feelings and what Nambong's affair will do to the family while Junho was more concerned about this damn wedding.

And of course it's not an episode of The First Man without empty threats from Jangmi. "Chae Hwayoung I'll make you cry tears of blood!" Yeah okay and I'm a chaebol heiress 💀 you aren't even brave to tell Baekho the truth of Hwayoung and Junho's relationship. Good luck trying to take the Root of All Evil out on your own. During the midway point of the drama Jangmi benefitted from Baekho and Taepyung's plots and now she's about to benefit from Youngja...

Seorin...! 👀 I actually gasped! Hopefully she rejoins the story soon because it needs her... Hopefully without amensia (unless she fakes it 👀) this drama is frustrating enough!

As for the next episode? Youngja is going to serve papers to Hwayoung during the family meeting (actually iconic tbh), and it's possible that Sukhee may get her memories back (please... I find her very annoying lmao). And of course... Seorin!

Ep 90:
Am I supposed to feel bad that Baekho is sad because Jangmi is trash? Dude you dodged a bullet. Both Taepyung and Jangmi withheld critical information from him... if I were him i'd be jumping for joy that the trash took itself out. But in this bizarro world of a drama we're supposed to feel inspired by his undying devotion to Jangmi because that's true love!! 🙄
Also rolling my eyes at Junho punching Baekho for absolutely no reason. My fellow Junho shooters it's about to be a rough ride.... and hats off to the writer for making Baekho look absolutely pathetic.

However I will give Baekho his flowers for locking in and trying to find Seorin. THAT will shake Hwayoung up more than any wedding will.

So now we're in the arc where Baekho is blaming himself for something that has absolutely nothing to do with him and Jangmi is going to cry talmbout some "mianhae Baekho..." You weren't very sorry when you lied by omission to him... several times.. and I still don't buy that Junho actually likes Jangmi... Never have actually.

Youngja finally finds out about the affair and I'm pleasantly surprised it wasn't a fake out by the writer since she's fond of those....

Now appleTV has a bunch of old MBC daily dramas but I think they're region locked 😭 I don't have appleTV but if they aren't region locked in the US I'll subscribe so fast.....

How could I forget Eunbyeol omgggg I tried to keep it together but seeing the news delivered to Haryu and his reaction broke me 😭 Samdo helping him through that 😭😭 it killed me when Samdo was like "our daughters probably already met and are playing with each other" 😭

Haryu sinking lower and lower makes sense lol shit depending on where you watch the title is either queen of ambition or king of ambition 😭 this is going to be one of the more interesting games of cat and mouse in a kdrama
