Oh Ahyeong was a transfer student from the countryside. Her name wasn't always Oh Ahyeong either ... Her name was originally a traditional Korean name (her peers made fun of her for having a "countrified" name) but the ring leader of these bullies was Sojung who was like ... the rich girl.
Eventually Ahyeong snapped and cut Sojung in the face with a metal ruler or similar sharp object. As adults, Sojung is a tour guide, still physically scarred by Ahyeong. While Ahyeong is mentally scarred and in some sort of mental hospital. Joo Yun helps them reconcile. I'll have to see if I can find this (hopefully with English subtitles) and rewatch it again.

Dongseok was pretty angry about the article and told Hwayoung to leave him alone. (it was implied Hwayoung paid someone to write it as part of her master plan to acquire Dream) Sukhee never confronted Hwayoung or Dongseok (she ran away to the countryside upon seeing the tabloid in question) and interestingly enough... Chairman Ma didn't actually approve of either relationship... until Dongseok disappeared and Hwayoung revealed that she was pregnant with his "heir"!

I don't remember if they actually interacted but Hwayoung ended up fainting and tumbling down the steps, leading to the miscarriage. Timeline wise this happened in 1995, while Junho was born in May 1990!)

Sanwol didn't get a press release so imagine my surprise when I learned their "tactic" was pretty much grifting and living off the chairman. Like I was expecting an evil mother daughter duo lol. They're more like comedic characters... that aren't really funny.
In fact, since a new corporate sponsor was brought in (the chicken place that the twins, Bora, Taepyung and Sukhee went to) I imagine Sanwol is going to get a store next since that's usually what happens to these types of characters lol
Hongju playing chess with the twins has potential to be very interesting, especially if she can leverage her friendship with Junho

From Seorin's perspective it does seem like Jangmi wanted to steal her life. 2) Seorin was literally raised by Hwayoung.... you think Hwayoung taught her emotional regulation skills? Shit, Seorin was established to be a not so nice person at the beginning of the drama. Her reaction IS in character whether people like it or not 3) Seorin was raised by Hwayoung for 30 years and like she said, that doesn't just get undone overnight. Tbh I am actually happy she's not bowing down to Jangmi like everyone else is 🤷🏾♀️
And of course it became more obvious in the most recent episode (97) with Jangmi successfully taking over aspects of Seorin's life and Seorin getting yelled at for being upset over it. And when she was upset over being replaced instead of seeing where she's coming from she gets yelled at about having a "bad character". Jangmi can do no wrong!
Yoonchul is the biggest piece of shit in this show. You're Jaekyung's friend but you don't see how much he values Haneul? You want Jaekyung to lose custody because you think Jaekyung should be a pro golfer instead? Stop being such a loser. I hope Jaekyung belts Yoonchul in the mouth
