This was a series I waited for for song long, but the wait has been worth it. Love seeing Ohm and Nanon together. Thankfully we got a proper kiss, not some weak sauce sniff-kiss or closed-mouth peck that some other series serve up. 🥰
I don't really know what to make of this so far and unsure of where it's going. On the surface it seems like a pretty standard 'is it BL or isn't it BL' drama, but then we get a child-murdering serial killer thrown in. Add to that a crime-solving family and a clumsy bodyguard, and so I'm left scratching my head as to what it is. I have no real reason to not watch it at this point, but it's definitely looking like a second-tier show in my viewing schedule.
To no-one's surprise, Tanwa discovers that Paytai is his brother. Eventually you find out that Tanwa wasn't the actual monster, but covering up for his brother. Paytai had been convinced by Pathomkarn that Tanwa had abandoned him as children/after their father was murdered. Paytai was influenced by Pathomkarn to kill, and turns himself in at the very end. Tanwa ends up with Aye. We don't find out what happens to Paytai after he turns himself in though, but Pathomkarn is still on the loose.
The initial storyline is quite interesting.. it could be a thrilling watch but I cannot stand the FL which has…
Her character is a big letdown. Rather than being a capable and strong, she's really weak and hopeless. I wouldn't trust her to give out parking fines, let alone chase after psychopathic killers.
This isn't the type of series I would normally watch, but I do like a good thriller or something a bit heavier or darker from time to time, unfortunately I found this a bit disappointing. The premise of the story is quite interesting, but boy oh boy do they drag it out. Most episodes took me 3-4 sittings to finish because they were so slow. Rather than slowness adding to the tension, it just made it boring and for 16 episodes it was quite a slog to get through. The tone is really uneven and swings from quite intense to almost goofy, which given the subject matter is really weird. Also, the investigative side of it is almost laughable at times with so many contaminated crime scenes and general misconduct. The romance felt forced and unnecessary, but it's standard practice for dramas I guess. I don't regret watching it, but I certainly didn't get the payoff I was hoping for with an unsatisfying ending.
I had really high hopes for this after seeing it mentioned in the BTS documentary of ITSAY and seeing a few actors from other series that I liked, but what a let down this was. I couldn't stand Tantawan from the very beginning and that never changed. I thought it was a series that if I watched enough episodes I'd end up enjoying it, but that episode never came.
I just saw one of my earlier comments from 7 months ago and it took me that long to watch this. I struggled through the first episode, started watching the second episode and then took a six month break in the middle. Finished the second episode and the remainder in about a fortnight, but rarely watched any of the episodes all the way through in one sitting because so much annoyed me.
I guess I'll add this show to the list where I absolutely loved the theme song, but not the actual series itself.
When I started this series I thought it would be in ITSAY territory and was prepared for an emotional journey, but unfortunately my hopes dwindled with each episode. It is still a remarkable effort, but parts of it was just huh? Some of it felt like it might be leading somewhere, but it was never fully resolved. Yes, there might be a suggestion of a second season, but I don't feel all that compelled to watch it.
I've really tried with this series, but I think I'm going to drop it. I just feel *nothing* while watching it. I can't even say that I hate it. It's just that I'm not all the interested in the main couple and the overall story isn't that engrossing. I can't even take refuge in the secondary couple because I just find the brother's actions irritating, rather than cute. I can almost see the trajectory of this series and therefore don't even need to watch it all the way through. Hopefully everyone else who is enjoying this continues to do so. 😃
I honestly think the scene was just fine considering the level they are at as boyfriends.
Yes, the watch did it for me as well. I didn't expect him to rip his shirt open and have the buttons go flying, but if I was so uncontrollably attracted to someone I probably wouldn't even bother taking my shoes off, let alone my watch.
It is true part of Leo and Fiat's backstory is given in TT2, but that series was so awful that you'd better not…
It would have been good for those of us who didn't see TT2 to have been given just a quick recap or intro. We have 12 episodes so surely they could have taken a little time to tell us who these people are and why we should be interested in them.
I've watched two episodes of this so far and I feel absolutely nothing for any of the characters. Maybe this will change, but I just don't care if Leo and Fiat are together or not. The problem with a lot of these series is that we don't get much of a backstory, so we're not all that invested in the characters, so whether they end up together or not doesn't really matter. (Edit: After reading the other comments apparently they were in TT2, but I didn't watch that, so these are entirely new characters to me.) I might easily overcome this lack of interest if it was 8 or even 10 episodes, but 12 episodes is daunting when I couldn't care less about their relationship. I'm not giving up just yet, but at the same time I wouldn't bet on my completing this.
