I don't want this to be my weekly Theo bashing, but yet again we're presented with an episode that leaves me questioning why *anyone* would genuinely be interested in him, even Akk. Akk is visiting a world of pain upon himself if he gets Theo. I know, I know, the foursome have their reasons, but it must be the way Theo is written or played that just leaves me feeling nothing. I guess my biggest problem with this is that no matter who Enchanté really is, we all know how it's going to end.

The preview for this series looked amazing and I try every week to like this, but it just falls short.

Three episodes in and I'm enjoying this so much. It is such a well made series. The performances are great and there's actually a decent story and we're not bombarded with nonsense. It's not often that you get a series where all the elements come together, but this is definitely one where it ticks all the boxes.

This is yet another series I'm way behind in, but I just watched the first episode and must say I was pleasantly surprised. The original trailer was underwhelming and told me absolutely nothing, so to see that the actual series appears to be quite a high standard production with some depth to the story is definitely welcome. Catching up on the episodes will certainly not be a chore with this one.

However, I think my ears will take some time to recover from the host of the Warm Up event. Shrill doesn't even begin to describe that. 🙉

I didn't mind the first episode and hopefully the story is interesting enough to not be just another body swap drama or a cynical ATOTS 2. Also, Earth and Mix have great chemistry on screen (and off) so this could be a decent series.

Having said that, the main issue I had with the plot was the fact that Win and Korn had supposedly been friends for a long time and may have a connection that goes beyond friendship, and yet when Win finds out Korn has been included in the will he totally loses it and accuses him of the worst possible intentions. I just found Win's reaction disproportionate and almost bizarre. Okay, maybe he's upset at his father's death and his emotions are out of kilter, but he's become irrational. I would have found the reaction more believable if he'd always had an antagonistic relationship with Korn, but with his best friend?

Anyway, it's a drama, so time for that suspension of disbelief thing.

I thought the original trailer looked fantastic and I was so happy to see it was eventually airing, but the series itself is just okay. Not bad, but certainly not great.

Maybe it's just the way Book is playing him, or what the director is telling him to do, but Theo is such a dull character. I understand that the Enchanté foursome have their reasons for pursuing him, but they could at least make him worthy of all that attention.

Maybe it's good that I can't watch this yet because I have so many other shows I have to catch up on already. 😆

I completely understand that and as I said I'm sure they'll uncover the reason, but the fact that Hia Lian is inconsiderate towards Kuea is unequivocal. He may have his reasons, but it doesn't change the fact that from what I've seen of their relationship so far is that it is toxic. It'll all be neatly explained and they'll end up happily ever after, but it doesn't change my mind about this not being romantic. I did write more, but deleted it because at the end of the day it is a series and not worth the effort.

There's something really off about this series. Yet again we have a couple with a toxic relationship who we're supposed to hope gets back together. Kuea made the best decision he'll ever make halfway through the first episode. Series over. I just find it really gross they are obligating Hia Lian to an arranged marriage based on a promise he made when he was a child. I'm sure they'll uncover the reason why he's become such a miserable sinner and seems to treat Kuea like a doormat, but I don't find this romantic at all.

I loved the original 2 Moons and was devastated when they announced they were changing the cast. I watched 2 Moons 2 but didn't really enjoy it. GY was shaky at first but then I really started enjoying it, but then it was ruined with all the other storylines and the sidelining of MarkKit. GY2 looks like more of the same and I'm in absolutely no rush to get through the remaining episodes.

I'm sure Bas would be a millionaire if that's the criteria for payment. 😆

One of many things I'd forgotten from Gen Y was the enormous cast. Okay, enormous might be overstating it, but there are way too many secondary couples/stories going on. I spend half the time thinking who is this and what is their story and why should I care?

I mainly watched Gen Y because of Kit and Mark, but their story faded and I'm not sure where they can go with it in Gen Y 2 without the standard second season tropes. Also, heaven help me if I have to sit through another series of Wayu moping around the whole time. I feel my energy drain every time he appears on screen.

As much as I wanted the original 2 Moons cast to get the series they deserved, after the abomination of Hotel Stars and the underwhelming Gen Y, it might be time for me to move on.

I've managed to watch 3 episodes so far and I'm really enjoying it. I like that the characters have a bit more depth to them and they are questioning their feelings, rather than the usual love at first sight. Also, because it isn't just a typical university setting the characters come from different worlds and have different approaches and experiences. It's a shame there are only 8 episodes, but it may be the case that fewer episodes means a more coherent story without the nonsense of others with more episodes.

To be honest I didn't even realise it was the same actor until I looked at his profile on here. He's definitely showing his acting range in this which is good to see.

Apparently there are uncut episodes available via subscription or premium access on the 3+ site. The episodes on YouTube (where I'm watching it) are cut, so they are missing some of the scenes. jpny01 has done a really good summary of the missing scenes which you can see in the discussions above.

I've liked Green since 2 Moons and it looks like he's getting a lot more roles now, so that makes me very happy. 😍

I'm really liking this. I'm probably a tragic for ghost love stories, but this one is different enough to keep it interesting. Nut is really good in this, but I think his character allows for more than the moody Solo from Oxygen. I've been watching the cut episodes I think, so maybe missing out on some of the story, may need to rewatch what I haven't seen in the uncut ones. And I'm always happy to see Green.

I didn't even know this was airing and judging by the comments that was probably not a bad thing. The first series hit a good point and then fell apart and it doesn't look like this'll be much of an improvement, unfortunately. I'll give it a go though.

I was barely through the first episode and thought it's going to be Akk. I wish they hadn't built up the relationship as much between Theo and Akk so early on because it feels so obvious that Akk is going to be Enchanté. Anyway, I may end up surprised, but I'm not that hopeful.

I really like the look of this and have only been able to watch half of episode 1 so far. I might have to put it on hold until there's a guaranteed source of subbed episodes unfortunately.
