Yes! My head hurt watching this one. All the episodes up until this have been okay, but this one they felt like they threw everything into it and made a mess. 2 episodes to go, so they need to starting clearing it up.
That most recent episode was confusing. Way too much going on and too hard to keep track of all the characters. Two episodes to go and they don't seem any closer to tying any of this up. Not enough Mark Kit and too much unnecessary rubbish.
I just recently finished watching this drama and was wondering if anyone felt like Yoo Han Yang’s story in the…
I didn't find it homophobic at all. I thought Han Yang had some complexity to his character and it was his addiction and the relationship with his family that were the main focus. I've watched too much BL and was expecting a relationship to form between Je Hyuk and Joon Ho. I didn't think Captain Yoo was homophobic, I think he just found Han Yang irritating, but in an annoying sibling love/hate thing. It's not until I read the comments here did I even consider it.
The writing on this show was magnificent! Just when you expect one thing it manages to intrigue you with something…
I agree, the writing was really well done. The storyline wasn't predictable and always managed to surprise me. All the characters were unique and had their strengths and weaknesses, but fit well together. I can see what you are saying about Han Yang, but I felt like the comic relief was based more on his addiction, rather than being gay. I haven't watched many Korean series, but I have watched plenty of Thai series where the gay character is exaggerated or a stereotype, but in this I felt like he had some complexity. We didn't find out immediately that he was gay, or it wasn't obvious to me from the beginning. I've seen too much BL and thought Je Hyuk and Joon Ho would end up together. Haha.
I didn't know what to expect from this before watching it and was anticipating a really heavy series, but was pleasantly surprised. A really nice balance of serious emotion and humour. Well written and well acted, with characters you become attached to. One of the best I've seen.
Now I know he's not only to blame for all my tears in ITSAY, but also Side by Side. Hope to see more work from him. He's a really talented and meticulous director.
I didn't think this series could get any more emotion out of me, but this documentary has proven me wrong. Seeing the effort behind the scenes to get the most out of the actors' performances show why this is so moving. This is easily one of the best series I have ever watched.
I have no interest in them ending up together either. I think they are making him have feelings for Wayu, but…
I only started watching this the other day and now I realise there are only 4 episodes to go, so they are going to have to wrap up a lot of stories pretty quickly, or maybe they will be cliffhangers for a second season.
Wayu might not get his happy ending, but maybe an explanation from Pha at the very least.
I love Jack and Koh. Really hope they end up together. Haha.
Part of the reason I never got around to watching season 2 of 2 Moons is because Kim/Copter weren't in it. Since…
I watched 2Moons2 and I could tolerate the new actors, but I always wanted to see the original MingKit play out their story. I'm just glad that after the bait and switch with Hotel Stars we do get to see Kim and Copter together again in a romantic story.
I have no interest in them ending up together either. I think they are making him have feelings for Wayu, but…
There's always the possibility that Pha will return in the end (or at least the back of his head) and Wayu will end up happy. I don't want him to suffer, but my focus is on Mark/Kit and some of the other couples. Although this is a different story to 2Moons, it is like Wayu has already had his romance in that.
I was looking forward to this, but didn't have terribly high expectations, but I am enjoying it. I think we're kinda getting the second season of 2Moons we should have. Love the chemistry of Ming Kit, and now Mark Kit. Kim is such a flirt and I love seeing him again.
I'm absolutely shipping Jack and Koh. They are probably the only other couple I'm invested in. Happy to see Thanu and Phai together, but I really enjoy the love/hate thing going on with Jack and Koh.
Is it bad of me for not wanting thanu and wayu to end up together?Their scenes makes me cringe.I know wayu ought…
I have no interest in them ending up together either. I think they are making him have feelings for Wayu, but he's really there to protect him on behalf of Pha. Thanu and Phai for sure.
Great example how drama ratings on MDL don't say it all. This is much much much better than many of the dramas…
I tend to ignore the ratings because sometimes people are giving high scores purely based on who's in them, rather than if it's any good.
I think having only 5 episodes in a series means you don't have a lot of pointless filler and secondary couples. So much suffering throughout this series, hopefully they do get a happy ending in the second.
This is such a beautiful and emotional series. Thai BL series are churned out – some good, some bad – but this series is definitely a highpoint. No gimmicks, no sound effects, no product placements, no unnecessary scenes. Perfect.
