Some folks bellow really need a Snickers bar... or a joint. In all seriousness, episode 7 was highly enjoyable,…
I agree. Episode 7 was the best so far and actually felt like there was a worthwhile story. It was cute without being unbearably sweet.

When episode 7 started I thought here we go again with more nonsense, but I actually ended up really liking the story from this one. It does help that Pao is adorable, of course. It's such a shame with this series that even though each couple is limited to 2 episodes, that we have been getting so much filler.

Episode 6 was probably the most cringe-inducing hour of drama I've ever watched. I feel really embarrassed for the actors having to act so nauseatingly sweet. Seriously, it was like eating a bucket-load of artificial sweetener. Episode 5 was tolerable, but Mon was so insipid and I have no idea what drugs the stylist on this series is taking, but I'll take a double dose. The next story looks interesting, but I'm sure it'll be another wasted opportunity and fall into nonsense.

I might have to hide your gun. Could they at least have Tum go back to the mall and try on another shirt? Or maybe…
Haha. I was quite agitated when I wrote that. I still won't be happy if Tum ends up with Tiffy though. She isn't even pleasant. I'd rather see Tum end up with Aoey, and I think Aoey is a psycho.

I don't know if people are being purposefully obtuse but I think it was clear that it wasn't about "obligation"…
I think there is a massive difference between enjoying a show AND being critical of that show, and just not enjoying the show AND being critical of it. I've mostly enjoyed this series, but I can find fault with it. I think some of the motivations and actions of the characters don't make sense. Also, I'm not about to drop a series I've watched for 11 out of 12 episodes.

The writing makes no sense. Just tell everyone Sib & Gene are childhood friends. It's easily verifiable and everyone…
You've hit on a very important point about there being no stakes. Sib was only acting to get close to Gene, so he doesn't care if he doesn't get any more roles. Also, he could reasonably pay out his contract. It might be more realistic if the production company held it over Sib's head that if he doesn't play along that Gene's writing career will essentially be over. It is tiresome to see wealthy people put in situations where there are no real consequences for their actions.

They were just being asked/told to be discreet, and what they do instead is make it obvious. They were worried about being forced to break up and so they break up. Doesn't make sense.

Yes, I get that it is only the thin end of the wedge when it comes to the four months thing, but why not wait and see? They were worried about being broken up by the studio, and so what do they do, preemptively breakup?!?! Tam's problem is solved for her. I know this is a drama, but the problem with most dramas is that they don't show how people would legitimately react to a problem. They don't communicate and so that's what frustrates me.

Also, we are speculating on what is or isn't in a fictional contract on a fictional show. Having said that I wouldn't be surprised if there was something within the contract about behaviour. I know similar things have happened with pop stars or actors where you have to keep relationships secret or make sure your behaviour in public doesn't do anything to compromise your reputation, or that of the company/band/production. The ridiculous thing to me is that they were asked to keep it low-key, which isn't unreasonable in my opinion, but instead they flaunt it. They live in apartments next to one another so they aren't exactly being torn apart. And asked not to like or comment on other's IG? Big deal. Their relationship is supposed to be soooooo strong that it can survive anything? Doesn't seem that way. They are being selfish and as we see Tum was affected, Hin was affected and how many others were in the process.

Again, this is only a drama, so picking it to pieces is pointless, but I think that is the problem with the premise that Sib was only acting to get close to Gene. He and Gene are both from wealthy families, so Sib doesn't need to act and I think this is reflected in his petulance. It could have been part of the story that he actually needs the role, but it appears that he doesn't and can just say to hell with his contract and not worry about never working in entertainment again. I think with Gene because his career is writing, he is a different story, but these series sometimes leave holes or miss backstories that could help to complete the picture and explain the motivations of the characters.

That's what I thought too. They live in the apartments next to one another. Is it that painful to just avoid meeting in public or not liking one another's photos on IG? I guess they are using this story to illustrate the darker side of BL and toxic fans, but surely there are people in the entertainment industry who can maintain relationships out of the public eye, or at least refrain from overt displays of affection. I see that Gene is trying to protect Sib's best interests, but to just break up and run away is immature and insulting.

This episode (11) drove my frustration level through the roof.

Firstly, I hate Tiffy. I've never liked her, and now I despise her. If Tum ends up with her I'll blow my brains out.

Anyway, what annoyed me about this episode was that all this thing with Gene and Sib blew up online and they didn't discuss it at all. Eventually they did, but what I mean is that they are at the beach together and then suddenly back at the apartment. There's some dumb story where Gene falls into the pool and stands there like an idiot instead of doing what any normal person would do and go and change or have a shower. Then they talk about the doll and I'm thinking do they even know about this thing that is all over social media or are they totally oblivious?!?! So then finally Hin talks to Gene and it doesn't seem like that big of a deal. All I would have wanted was a scene when they were still at the beach where they saw what was happening or got a text from Tum and decided to come back.

So, I'm probably unnecessarily incensed, but they get told to, quite reasonably, keep their relationship lowkey, but instead they cavort on the beach and make it obvious. The publisher and studio are upset and tell them to keep it lowkey and so they quite reasonably BREAK UP. So dumb. We have an episode not long ago where they are trying to prove to their families that they are supposed to be together and love one another so much and will be together for ever and ever and then at the first hurdle they reach, they break up. Yes, we'll likely have everything neatly resolved next episode, or a cliffhanger for a second season, but I don't like it when they have characters behave like no reasonable person would.

OMG the Indian background music one side, but the falling and rolling scene is a classic Indian soap opera, Star…
I was wondering if they was using Indian drama tropes, like the constant references to Koreans dramas.

Finally Kaphook doesn’t play a bad person this time! Well music in friendzone wasn’t too bad she felt unloved.
Oh wow. I didn't even recognise her. She looked so sweet as the teacher.

Again, another episode has raced by and the wait for next week begins. I think Meen is my favourite character. He is just too adorable. Louis plays the role really well.

I feel like the main couple is treading water a bit at the moment, but we still have many episodes to go and it looks like next week we might see them move a step forward.

I'm only up to episode 5 so far, and it wasn't too bad relativelY-Destiny speaking. The story has potential but similar to Sun/Nuea there is just so much filler and nonsense. This whole series could have been really good, but they've taken the easy option and produced little more than fluff. I'm sticking with it in the hope some of the other stories will be better, but I'm preparing myself to be wholly underwhelmed.

This show would have been one of the top Thai BL if it was more streamlined. I'd make these changes personally:1.…
I thought Tiffy's vehemence regarding Tum's supposed homosexuality was weird. Maybe I missed something earlier, but other than me assuming Tum was gay or would at least have a male pairing because this is BL, when he showed interest in Tiffy I thought it was genuine and any reluctance on her part was her being coy, rather than thinking Tum was gay. :/ I could probably do without their storyline anyway because I don't really care enough about the characters.

I think Aey's storyline with his family is/was superfluous. It gave some depth to his character, but almost felt duplicated by Gene/Nubsib's parents' reaction. Aey always had a weird vibe about him and it maybe would have been better to just keep his character that way.

I somewhat agree with you on the speed in which the issue with Gene and Nubsib's parents was resolved, but at the same time because there are so few episodes to go, I guess they felt they had to resolve it promptly. I think one of the problems with some of these series is that they touch on some important issues, but deal with it in a really superficial way.

I definitely am happy to see a move away from a lot of toxicity in these shows. ITSAY for me felt like a step in the right direction. There are still some diabolically bad series, but hopefully they eventually become the exception.

Ughhhh. Now begins the wait for next week's episode.

I'm really enjoying this series. It's sweet and it's silly, but has a good story and acting.

I especially adore Meen and his sad eyes.
