i get where you're coming from, but it's not that farfetched. whenever our team works offsite in another city, it's not uncommon for the team lead to get a business suite with a conference table and a printer/copier. this allows us to work in their "hotel room" at all hours as needed. Their bedroom is usually separated by a connecting door. plus Cen Ye and MJ dated in the past, so are more than just boss/employee. they seem to be on friendly enough terms that her going to his hotel room doesn't seem to be a big deal to them.

Question....i feel like i missed this part or maybe it just hasn't been explained yet. At first I thought CY went to jail for the few years that he disappeared from Teng City, which was why he sent MJ away. But flashbacks show he was in some sort of fight club? Was he undercover? Because why is he getting PTSD counseling via the police department's psychiatrist if he isn't employed there. I'm confused.

I'm confused. Why is it that Grand Prince Yi An not the sucessor to the crown? I thought the former deceased king was also his father? Why is it that the little kid is king instead of Yi An, who is older? What did I miss?

so yes, the shape looks similar to the nazi medal, but I feel like this one looks a lot more like Spain's. There are also a few other countries with a similar medal styling.

I like KWB & BZ, but this wasn't the right comedy for them. Bad writing aside, this had more of a slapstick comedy style that required actors known for their ability to do physical comedy. For example, Shin Hye Sun (Mr. Queen), Lee Hyeri (My Roommate is a Gumiho), Jun Ji-Hyun (My Love From Another Star), Park Hyung Shik (Dr. Slump), Lee Yi Kyung (Eulachacha Waikiki), Jo Jung-Suk (Hospital Playlist).

loved the fight scenes.

I watched this over 10 years ago, so i'm fuzzy on the details. The other woman was Jeong Boon's sister, who was developmentally challenged. Jeong Boon took care of her sister all her life, but had become tired of this burden. Not really sure why she shot Jeong Boon. The sister either found out how Jeong Boon really felt about her or that Jeong Boon was cheating on her daughter with Yoon Ha.

looks like all the budget went into paying top actors and none went to scriptwriting, cinematography, special effects, and a fight choreography team.

Probably bc she dedicated her entire existence to caring for her paraplegic husband.....and she did this out of selfless love.

Wow. I've watched hundreds of dramas and this one is a 10 for me. If you like slice of life evenly paced dramas that delve into intergenerational familial dynamics, showcase how hard life can be but also juxtaposes it with shining happy moments and triumphs, you'll love this. Reminded me a bit of Reply 1988 in terms of giving that nostalgic feeling of an era gone by. Be ready to cry.

Kinda wish this had just been done in one showing vs splitting into 3 seasons. You lose momentum when it's split. As with most dramas, the beginning episodes (S1) were the best, the middle episodes (S2) were so-so, and the ending episodes (S3) managed to recoup some of what made it an interesting drama in S1, but not by much. Had they kept it as the original S1 characters working together until the end, I may have felt more continuity/attachment. But the introduction of so many new characters in S2 made me lose interest. That being said, not all of the new characters were a waste, some were a nice addition, but the majority just felt like filler/distraction.

not really sure why folks were so hell bent on flying out of korea. maybe i missed something, but if an asteroid was going to hit the earth, wouldn't the majority of the planet be affected? so really nowhere was safe except a few pockets here and there.

it was an okay story, but i could have done without the cult, human traficking, weapons larceny & intellectual property subplots. these are things that happen even when the earth isn't ending, so nothing new there. i feel the story could have been stronger had it focused more on the emotions, personal relationships and daily minutiae of how the church community/ neighborhood banded together to overcome the shortages and chaos as the end of the world approached, rather than all of the criminal side-stories.

6. I enjoyed my 2023 drama journey. There were alot of good ones this year!
7. It's the usual plan for 2024 as other years -- to watch dramas that keep my interest until the end & drop those that don't.

I enjoyed season 2, just not as much as season 1. That said, it's undoubedtly hard to beat season 1 as this is where we're introduced to the world building, main characters, and core plots -- so everything is new and interesting. For season 2, the writers moved the story along well enough (although sometimes it felt fillerish), introduced new characters and subplots (not all of which I felt were necessary or written well) and set us up for what seems like will be an interesting finale/season 3. But I think alot of us would have preferred more screen time w/the core season 1 characters and having them stay together as a group for this installment. I disliked that they killed off some of the more decent characters, but production probably had to make concessions w/the story line & put an end to certain characters due to the actors' schedules, hence the reason we got all of the new characters.

exactly. also, i can't believe that with their resources/wealth they couldn't find her when she went missing. it's also strange that the mongolian parents didn't report that they found a child to the police.
