I'm laughing at myself because it wasn't until I googled the ending to this drama that I had an "aha" moment. Needless to say...you can't take this drama literally or as one of the reviewers above mentioned...you'll miss out on alot of the clues and symbolism.

I enjoyed the site before, love it even more now. Thanks so much for all of your hard work!

A bit on the strange side...but not too bad. Of course, I enjoy watching Odagiri in almost anything, so I'm biased. The actors did a decent job...well as good of a job as they could, being that they were dubbed (both main actors are not Chinese). It was the overall story that left me scratching my head.

I agree..the movie was a bit fantastical and historical accuracy wasn't a top priority....but still a good watch. The ninja ropes (lol) were actually grappling hooks. The Allied forces bombed the heck out of Pointe du Hoc, then sent Army Rangers in with grappling hooks and ladders. Of course, in the movie...it didn't look like cliffs...but I suppose that was their interpretation?

So sad...but will be waiting for his return!

2nd episode was awesome. But seriously, do the police not have vehicles in Japan? They had poor Oguri running everywhere. lol.

Really solid film about friendship. Another nice one for Odagiri and Miura.

This movie started off okay for me...the premise of one character's dreams being acted out in real life by another character was interesting. But the plot holes kept increasing and the absurdity of the two lead's sleep deprived situation, which the writer could have easily resolved, bordered on the ridiculous.

I was still on-board until the movie took an awful turn about 75% of the way into the film. I finished it only because all of the final scenes were so surreal, that I found myself laughing at the irrationality of it all--and I don't think this movie was meant to be a comedy. I respect Odagiri Jo and Lee Na Young for taking on these roles, but it was wasted talent in my opinion. A disappointing dream indeed.

That was one of the weird things about this film. It's a Korean movie...the characters only speak/understand Korean, but they have Jin, a Korean played by Odagiri, speaking in Japanese. And everyone seems to understand each other as if having a conversation in two languages when the characters only speak one of them is completely natural. I guess they wanted to save the money on a voice actor to dub Odagiri into Korean. Right...just kidding here...I think it had more to do with the whole over the top direction/plot lines.

Hmmm...not sure about this one....and I usually like artsy films. It's interesting though.

This movie is so sad, but also heartwarming. The sacrifices mother's make for their children is priceless.

In retrospect, I really wish I had been more into the whole j-drama, j-pop culture so that I could have watched out for some of my favorite actors/singers. But oh well.

I think the main thing is to travel as much as you can when you have time off, try to make Japanese friends so that you have more exposure to off-the-beaten path experiences, find the time to relax in a few onsens, don't just go to gaijin bars/establishments, karaoke, eat all types of different foods (my personal fav - okonomiyaki), and the list goes on, really.

I agree. 'I'm a Cyborg' is actually one of my top 20 movies. I applaud Ji Hoon for taking on such a phenomenal role.

Dramaland is certainly magic! If you're suing Rain for your addiction, I'm going to have to sue a whole bunch of other actors/actresses for getting me hooked as well. lol
