Not as good as people hype it up to be. It's different and MaxTul's chemistry definitley saved the show. but story/mystery…
I wasn't. While there were some weaknesses and overly lucky circumstances to the mystery aspect of the show, I could forgive them in the piece, as a whole. What I can say is that, for the sub-genre, it was an actually bold undertaking. I'd much rather see something like this, where it may be a bit rough in some parts than yet another BL set at Uni with all that entails. Instead of Manner of Death, we're all too often served a series that could be titled Done To Death: Instance #174.039.852
Some were disappointed by how the murder investigation concluded, saying that there were some plot holes but most people say that, yes, it had a good ending and a very good one for the main characters. It's well worth watching, IMO. =)
I can only say that I would never consider a YouTube video as authoritative information for any news item unless it was produced by a reputable media organization. It's like people getting all of their news information from Facebook. Anyone can post anything.
We all have to acknowledge that we can like trash. I have said many times, I like the series..
What some here don't seem to realise is that the world 'trash' is not always used to mean literal garbage. In the southern United States, for, example, the word is used to mean low-brow or even, fluffy. It's basically saying that what one is referring to is not high art. Calling an individual person trash, though, is an actual insult.
I'm embarrassed to admit this... but I don't know what "NC" stands for. What is it? Thanks in advance. :)

I like this well enough.Okay, so here's what's happening so far:Nubsib has the hots for Gene and is trying really…
Dare we call it... a Trope? How many times have we seen the shy/reluctant/insecure/vulnerable love interest before? Further, how many times have we seen them be so foul-mooded and surly that they look less Hard-To-Get and more Who-Would-Want-To-Get-Them-In-The-First Place?
One sometimes suspects the Semes of BL land of being closet-case masochists for honing in on The-Shrew-In-Lambs-Clothing of their campus/workplace/friend circle, time after time...
I really do wish that this wouldn't be used as often as it is in series. It's so stale .
People have been posting speculations. Here are mine... or....are they... A PARODY, OF THE PARODY? (Reveal at…
Aey telegraphs being a climber from a K away, to me: one who won't be fussy about what he has to do for fame. (Compensating for some Deep Sorrow.) Sib possibly already has him read for a grasping climber and/or more through whatever their backstory is. Mork will be the shoulder that Aey ends up crying on. (Along with Mystery Lady)
Hin will do something shady to screw over Gene to advance his story over Gene's to Bua. (Bua-The -Dark-Succubus-Of-Publishing, might also demand a few goat sacrifies from Hin, as well.) If The-Dread-Bowl-Cutted-One favours Hin, it'll likely only be temporarily.
Tum and Tiffy will fall in love once they stop playing It's-A-Secret about Tum's orientation. (Not that anyone will care.)
Gene and Sib will obviously end up together, reuniting after the Mandatory Breakup. The Breakup occurs because:
A) The relationship is messing up the series hype
B) Gene will have Misunderstanding #42-009-1717-358 about Nubsib's hidden agenda to be with Gene, after Gene is dished the dirt (or an Ureasonable-Facsimilie-Thereof) by someone with Ulterior Motives.
Gene, in the end, will not only have a boyfriend who can keep him well stocked in jam (because Sib has more money than Jeff Bezos) but Gene will also be able to Flip the Bird to Hin and/or cast Dark-Dreaded-Bua back into the Hellpit from which She came. The experience becomes the fodder for his next Fantasy Horror novel.
OR: Fah fires everyone, sends them all on their way with their Conciliatory Face Masks (1 each), and recasts the whole thing...
The sound engineers all drop dead of heart failure thanks to their series-long diet of Red Bull and Amphetamines.

Gene is going through the process of coming out. People go through that in different ways depending on their upbringing.…
Hopefully some good comes of it. If Gene doesn't makes amends, somehow, the show will be pretty much finished, for me. I don't enjoy series if I don't like the leads.
I've come to realise that this series and Manner of Death have spoiled me, to a degree. I've already dropped one new series and I'm on the verge of dropping another!

For me, that apology has to come within the next episode (and preferably not when Gene's p[$$@d out of his tree because that would be a cheaply scripted cop-out) to be meaningful. It would render the character unbelievable and/or unlikable for me, otherwise.
